The Civil Aviation Agency is the Republic of North Macedonia’s independent aviation authority and as such, it strives to achieve the highest aviation safety and security standards. The CAA provides efficient and timely execution of its regulatory functions including a safety oversight system, as well as other functions related but not limited to economic oversight, flight permissions, and passenger rights. Our vision is to provide safe and efficient air services operations entirely integrated into the European transport network, while contributing to the sustainable development of the Republic of North Macedonia. Our mission is the regulation of air transport activities in the Republic of North Macedonia to ensure safe, regular, efficient, economically and environmentally sustainable national civil aviation which will be in accordance with international standards and harmonized and integrated into the European Union, in the interest of all participating entities and particularly in the interest of passenger safety.
