Hi connections! My team and I at Forest Interactive Foundation are about to embark on a mission that’s close to our hearts — running a series of workshops for the B40 community who are already running their own small businesses. Our goal is simple but powerful: to help them grow, improve their income and build a more secure future for themselves and their families. But we can’t do this alone. I’m looking for industry friends who believe in giving back, in sharing knowledge, and in standing alongside those who are often overlooked — to walk this journey with us. And maybe… this is where you come in. The All-Star Bestari Scholarship (ASBS) Cohort 2 Graduation Camp, held from 16 - 19 July 2025 at ibis Styles, Sepang, was more than just a send-off. It was a celebration of growth and a launchpad for the future. Marking a meaningful milestone in our scholars’ journey, the camp was made even more impactful with the support of our learning partner, Forest Interactive Foundation. Scholars engaged in thoughtfully curated modules on social branding and adaptability & resilience, equipping them with the soft skills essential for thriving in tertiary life. The experience was further enriched through a financial literacy session led by our inspiring Young CEO Development Programme (YCDP) Cohort 7 alumni, as well as an intimate peer-sharing session with ASBS Cohort 1 undergraduates and alumni, offering real-world insights and encouragement. To conclude the camp on a magical note, scholars enjoyed a Harry Potter–themed dinner, celebrating their journey in true wizarding style. On 17-18 July, FIF team had the privilege of designing and delivering a two-day workshop for 16 high-potential scholars from Axiata Foundation! This is their 3rd Scholar Camp and over the course of the program, participants gained essential skills in personal and social branding — from crafting compelling e-portfolios and LinkedIn profiles to writing impactful resumes. The focus: helping them confidently present themselves to win scholarships, secure placements at top universities, and land roles at their dream companies. In today’s competitive landscape, we also introduced a module on adaptability and resilience — equipping them with the mindset and tools to navigate future challenges with clarity and confidence. It was truly inspiring to guide and witness the growth of such driven, passionate individuals. Here's to the next generation of changemakers! 🔥
