We’re looking for a Head Chef in Hoofddorp! Papa’s Beach House is looking for a new Head Chef to lead the kitchen of our iconic spot in the Haarlemmermeerse Bos. Think: BBQs, food festivals, lakeside weddings, and 200+ à la carte guests a day – all in a setting that’s as relaxed as it is professional. We’re part of CLAY Hospitality, a growing brand with big ideas and good vibes. You’ll run a solid team, shape menus, manage the kitchen from A to Z, and help take our food to the next level. You’ve got experience as a Sous or Head Chef, you know your way around HACCP and kitchen ops, and you like variety – from leading events to mentoring the team. What’s in it for you?

A dynamic day centered on #Sustainability in hospitality—featuring real business cases, engaging discussions, and meaningful industry collaboration. My brother and I had the chance to share our perspective on the sustainability of a family business—highlighting both challenges and long-term opportunities. In spring, when nature is in full bloom, it's the perfect time to pause and appreciate our planet. We'd love to shine a light on three inspiring initiatives we're proudly partnering with: 💦 Made Blue Foundation 💦 At Papa's Houses , we’ve been collaborating with the Made Blue Foundation Made Blue Foundation for many years. Their mission is simple but powerful: to provide clean drinking water for all. All our water is locally bottled and cooled via a water cooler, which is a far more sustainable choice than spring water. Best of all, for every bottle served, we donate 1,000 times that amount of water to communities in developing countries! At Element Amsterdam Hotel we’ve also been proud partners of Made Blue for several years. In every hotel bathroom, guests will find a message raising awareness and encouraging them to limit their time in the shower. At the same time, they’re given the chance to donate the liters they save, through us, to those who need it most. 🌳 Hotels for Trees 🌳 One of our newest partners at Element Amsterdam is Hotels for Trees, a non-profit foundation where hotel guests help plant trees. Guests staying more than one night can choose to skip room cleaning for the day by hanging a Hotel for Trees door hanger. For every room skipped, Element Amsterdam donates one tree to a reforestation project, either here in the Netherlands or somewhere else in the world. Since February, our amazing guests have already helped us donate 234 trees! 🏄 SUP SUP CLUB 🏄 And last but not least, a shout-out to our partner on the water: SUP SUP CLUB ! Their self-service paddle board system at Papa's Beach House offers guests, and all visitors to the Haarlemmermeerse Bos, a fun and easy way to explore the area from the water. Renting a paddle board takes just a few simple steps. SUP SUP CLUB is all about promoting health, well-being, and a cleaner, fitter world. It’s a great way to reconnect with nature and create unforgettable experiences for our guests. Thanks to you all & keep on rocking! 🤙
