Every year, we bring the whole company together — from Amsterdam, Porto and A Coruña — for our own off-site Pantheon. It’s a time to connect, reflect, play, and re-energise for the journey ahead. It’s also a reminder that, while we work with data and machines, it’s our people that make the difference. This year was a special edition, as we celebrated 5 amazing years of our company in the beautiful setting of La Toja, Galicia! Work should be more than work. Meet Sofia Pereira, our newest Business Analyst. 👏 Straight from Baião, land of bold wine and even bolder flavours, Sofia brings both curiosity and purpose to the team. With a background in Bioengineering – Molecular Biotechnology (yes, it’s as intense as it sounds), she even took her skills to the Netherlands before shifting gears into the world of business. At Deloitte, Sofia found her spark in Salesforce and Customer Experience. Now, she’s diving deep with us at DEUS, driven by a simple yet powerful idea: leave things better than you found them. That mindset isn’t just for work. Sofia is a long-time volunteer and community builder: mentoring kids in soft skills, organising festivals like Byonritmos, and always looking for ways to contribute. Outside of work? She’s a serious foodie. From snacking on salty bites to scouting out new restaurants, Sofia’s always up for a good meal, especially if there’s cheese involved (skip the sweets bring the queijo da serra). 🧀 We’re thrilled to have her on board. Say hi to Inês Lopes, our newest Data Engineer.👏 Born in Porto (fine, Valongo), living in Braga, Inês brings a refreshingly unconventional journey to data. She kicked things off in Communication Sciences, dabbled in marketing, pivoted into Information Systems, and never looked back. From crunching insights as a Data Analyst to linking knowledge as a Linked Data Engineer at Nokia for nearly three years, Inês has now landed at DEUS to build the future of data with us. But she’s not just fluent in SQL and semantic graphs, she’s a side-quest enthusiast. Running, cabinet restoration, traditional singing, cooking from scratch, multi-day hikes... Inês collects hobbies like others collect stamps. She’s also known as Guidezilla for her talent in planning trips, whether it’s a solo escape or a 20-person weekend in Bilbao. 
 Still, her all-time favourite activity? Gathering friends around a table full of homemade food and good conversation. Welcome aboard, Inês. Let’s build great things, data and beyond 🚀
