We are honored to have partnered with the Town of Coaldale and the Government of Alberta in securing Strategic Transportation Infrastructure Program (STIP) funding to support the Industrial Rail Extension Project, a milestone that will strengthen Alberta’s food economy and sets the stage for long-term growth in southern Alberta.   This $8 million infrastructure investment, jointly funded by the Province, the Town, and NewCold, connects Coaldale’s industrial park to the CPKC rail line and helps unlock new opportunities for food processors and manufacturers across the region. The project will support local producers, providing the infrastructure required to compete on a global scale faster, more sustainably, and more reliably than ever before.   We are grateful to Mayor Jack Van Rijn, Town Council, Minister Devin Dreeshen, Minister Grant Hunter, and the many community leaders who supported and championed this project.
