🔌Isologic Goes Electric! We are excited to announce the expansion of our electric fleet with the addition of the Mercedes-Benz eCitan. This compact and sustainable vehicle boasts a range of approximately 280 km and can be rapidly charged from 20% to 80% using fast-charging stations. Rogier Backer Mark van Voorden   Our commitment to electric mobility is driven by our collaboration with Radboud Translational Medicine B.V., where we transport medical isotopes daily to healthcare facilities both domestically and internationally. Furthermore, many of our clients are increasingly seeking sustainable logistics solutions. With the implementation of zero-emission zones in cities such as Nijmegen, and the expectation that more cities will follow this example, this is a significant step forward.   At Isologic, delivery reliability is paramount: it is crucial that hospitals receive the necessary medical sources on time for patient treatment. The Mercedes-Benz eCitan supports us in this mission with its dependable performance and swift charging capabilities.   A notable feature of this eCitan is its specialized software that optimizes temperature settings for efficient charging. The U.S. FDA has accepted Telix’s Biologics License Application (BLA) for its investigational kidney cancer imaging agent TLX250-CDx (Zircaix®, 89Zr-DFO-girentuximab), granting a Priority Review with a PDUFA date of August 27, 2025. This acceptance brings this breakthrough product one step closer to patients and paves the way for a U.S. commercial launch in 2025. If approved, TLX250-CDx will become the first commercially available imaging agent to accurately and non-invasively diagnose and characterize clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC), the most common and one of the most aggressive sub-types of kidney cancer. KARL-100 INSTALLED! Afgelopen week hebben Bram en Mike de KARL-100 van Tema Sinergie geïnstalleerd in het Laurentius Ziekenhuis te Roermond. Door een goede voorbereiding van het ziekenhuis is de installatie soepel verlopen. Namens PI Medical Diagnostic Equipment BV wil ik het ziekenhuis, maar vooral de afdeling Nucleaire Geneeskunde, feliciteren met deze mooie machine. Veel plezier en succes!

It’s a wrap! Vorige week een bijzondere opdracht afgerond voor Radboud Translational Medicine B.V., producent van o.a. radioactieve stoffen (contrastvloeistof) voor PET scans. In de afgelopen weken hebben we een nieuwe strategie geformuleerd, inclusief de implicaties voor de bedrijfsvoering. Zoals altijd hebben we afnemers, partners en marktexperts betrokken in het proces. Zo ook de kracht van design voor het ontwikkelen van mogelijke toekomst scenarios, wederom dank aan Martin Mes! Daarnaast heb ik weer mogen samenwerken met René Koopman, zijn GIS-analyse voor dit project heeft tot mooie nieuwe inzichten voor RTM geleid.   Heel veel dank aan het RTM team - Anne van den Beek, Mariëlle Kersten, Mateusz Synowiecki, Kristell Chatalic en Lars Perk - voor de fijne en vruchtbare samenwerking. 🚚 Isologic takes step towards sustainable transport 🚚 At Isologic, we are taking an important step towards a more sustainable healthcare system. In collaboration with the Radboud Translational Medicine B.V. in October we commissioned an electric van for transporting medical isotopes. This vehicle serves as a pilot to investigate whether electric transport is a viable option for the safe and efficient transport of radioactive materials. This is crucial because radioactive sources should always reach their destination as soon as possible, as they lose their radiation value in a short period of time. From 2025, a number of cities in the Netherlands - including Nijmegen - will introduce zero-emission zones. This means that in phases, limited vans and trucks with combustion engines will be allowed in the city centre. Electric driving is completely emission-free. With this pilot we want to map out how we can make our fleet more sustainable and comply with the latest regulations, without compromising on safety and reliability. In samenwerking met het Radboud Translational Medicine B.V. hebben we in oktober een elektrische bestelbus in gebruik genomen voor het transport van medische isotopen. Dit voertuig dient als pilot om te onderzoeken of elektrisch vervoer een haalbare optie is voor het veilige en efficiënte transport van radioactieve materialen. Dit is cruciaal, omdat radioactieve bronnen altijd zo snel mogelijk op de plaats van bestemming moeten zijn, omdat ze in korte tijd hun stralingswaarde verliezen. Vanaf 2025 voeren een aantal steden in Nederland – waaronder Nijmegen – de zero-emissiezone in. Dit betekent dat er, gefaseerd, beperkter bestelbussen en vrachtwagens met een verbrandingsmotor in het centrum mogen komen. Elektrisch rijden is volledig uitstootvrij. Met deze pilot willen we in kaart brengen hoe we onze vloot verder kunnen verduurzamen en voldoen aan de nieuwste regelgeving, zonder concessies te doen aan veiligheid en betrouwbaarheid.
