𝐈 𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐧’𝐭 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐣𝐨𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐩 , 𝐈 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐞. 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧, 𝐢𝐭 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐞. When I walked in at Lishnu Tech , there was no roadmap. No brand. No clients. No portfolio. Just an idea and a team brave enough to believe in something that didn’t yet exist. As a #marketer and a young #CMO, I thought I’d be building campaigns, writing content, and maybe running a few ads. But instead, I learned what it means to build from zero. 🔹 Crafted our brand identity when no one knew our name 🔹 Cold-called clients without a single case study to show 🔹 Wrote, shot, edited, and published our voice into existence 🔹 Learned to sell not a product but a vision 🔹 Acted like I have decades of experience when in reality I was not even a graduate 🔹 Led the team with proper direction and plans. 🔹 Helped IT team with ideas and execution to create our website from scratch There were days when I doubted myself. When the rejections felt too personal. When I questioned whether I was even qualified for this. But startup life doesn’t ask for qualifications. 𝐈𝐭 𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭. 𝐈𝐭 𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐭. 𝐈𝐭 𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐮𝐩 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠. 💡 Somewhere in all this, I stopped seeing myself as just a marketer. 𝑰 𝒃𝒆𝒄𝒂𝒎𝒆 𝒂 𝒃𝒖𝒊𝒍𝒅𝒆𝒓. 𝑨 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒓. 𝑨 𝒇𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝒊𝒏 𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒓𝒊𝒕. We didn’t just survive our first year we became profitable. To our CEO Nishan Timilsina sir and CTO Jenish Neupane sir, Thank youuu!!!!! Thank you for believing in me before I believed in myself. For trusting me with freedom, flexibility, and far more than my role required. For handling my tantrums with patience and my big ideas with even bigger support. 𝐓𝐨 𝐦𝐲 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦 : you didn’t just work alongside me. You carried me through hard days and helped me grow into someone who could lead with both strategy and empathy. This chapter may be closing as I fly across borders to start my #master’s journey, but this experience will forever be the foundation I stand on. If you’re thinking about working at a startup, do it! Not for the title. Not for the hype. But for the person it will help you become. Because the truth is: You won’t just learn how to do your job.
