We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior SEO Executive to join our growing digital marketing team. This entry-level position is perfect for someone passionate about search engine optimization, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to improving our online visibility and organic search rankings. You will work closely with our SEO Manager and content team to implement SEO strategies, analyze performance, and stay updated with the latest industry trends.
Key Responsibilities:
Keyword Research: Assist in conducting keyword research to identify high-volume, low-competition keywords relevant to our industry and content.
On-Page SEO: Support the optimization of website content, including meta titles, descriptions, headers, and image alt tags, for search engines.
Technical SEO: Help identify and resolve basic technical SEO issues such as crawl errors, broken links, and site speed improvements.
Content Optimization: Collaborate with content creators to ensure new and existing content is SEO-friendly and aligned with keyword strategies.
Link Building: Assist in identifying opportunities for quality backlinks and support outreach efforts.
SEO Audits: Participate in website audits to identify areas for SEO improvement.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO platforms.
Competitor Analysis: Conduct basic competitor analysis to identify their SEO strategies and opportunities for our own.
Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.
Reporting: Assist in preparing regular SEO performance reports.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Basic understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) principles and practices.
Familiarity with Google Analytics and Google Search Console is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret data.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
A strong desire to learn and grow in the field of digital marketing.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
Experience with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar.
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.
Understanding of content marketing and social media.
Previous internship or project experience in digital marketing or SEO.
