Therefore, the two ...See moreLena, a successful and attractive construction manager, is newly in love: In the mature, highly cultured tax consultant Felix, the single mother in her mid-thirties believes she has finally found the man of her dreams. Therefore, the two decide to take the next step in their relationship and move in together. Lena's 13-year-old daughter, Johanna, who can't stand the schoolmasterly, stiff Felix, disagrees with this at all. But fate throws a wrench into Lena's big plans anyway: Her mother, Elisabeth, shows up completely unexpectedly and moves in with Lena and Johanna. What was planned as a pleasant visit soon develops into a real problem. From the very first day, the likeable, yet rather dominant Elisabeth interferes in everything and completely turns her daughter's life upside down. The otherwise self-confident Lena doesn't even dare to tell her mother about Felix. But then Lena has a saving grace - her single mother needs a boyfriend. What Lena doesn't realize: While she's trying to find the right partner for Elisabeth online, Elisabeth falls head over heels for Felix, a stranger to her, on the golf course. Meanwhile, the cheeky Johanna, with the active support of her grandmother, hatches a plan to match her mom with a man who's truly suited to Lena. She and Elisabeth have already found the perfect candidate - Johanna's likeable, youthful German teacher Leo, who is just as clueless about the whole thing as Lena is.
