Still reflecting on a wonderful time at CON-LO-CON 2025 in Los Angeles last week. A small team from Plint travelled to LA to meet with clients and, of course, to attend CON-LO-CON — and what an experience it was 🙌 A heartfelt thank you to the brilliant EGA team and the Entertainment Globalization Association for organising such an outstanding event – a true celebration of our industry and the people driving it forward. It was a real pleasure to connect with friends, colleagues, and peers from across the localisation community. These opportunities to come together and share ideas are truly invaluable 🧡   A special mention as well to Per Naucler, who had the honour of presenting a Hermes Award for Localisation Excellence in the category "Best Script Adaptation for a Dubbed Audio". We’re proud to have collaborated with our client Göteborgs Konsthall on artist Larissa Sansour’s powerful exhibition "INDIGO IS THE COLOUR OF GRIEF"    At Plint, we had the honor of crafting the Swedish subtitles for Sansour’s three poetic films, which engage with both political and universal human themes. Shame on Dry Land (Swedish: Syndabocken) by Swedish director and screenwriter Axel Petersén has just been selected as one of three candidates to become Sweden's entry for Best International Feature Film at the 2025 Oscars!
