At Income Insurance, we have been intentional about harnessing data, analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI) to foster a strong data culture, ensuring compliance and efficiency. Over the past year, we have accelerated our enterprise-wide transformation through several key initiatives, impacting how we shape a more agile and future-ready organisation. A key enabler is the way we foster our data and AI culture internally. To achieve this, we invited all employees to participate in an e-module on Data Governance (DG) and Ethical AI, developed by our DG team, which attained a completion rate of over 99.5% in 2024. Additionally, a curated module is embedded within our onboarding process for new joiners, supporting continuity and ensuring everyone at Income Insurance shares a common understanding of our data and AI culture. Recognising the growing importance of AI literacy, we hosted an enterprise-wide AI sharing session attended by close to 1,000 participants, which achieved an overall satisfaction rating of 4.5 out of 5.0. Our efforts have not only strengthened our data-driven culture but have also earned us global recognition. We are honoured to have been named winners for two consecutive years in the Data, Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) category at the Celent Model Insurer Awards.🥳 #IncomeMadeYours

In commemoration of Income 55 and SG60, we are excited to announce the launch of The Singaporean Dream: Income's 55th Anniversary Edition card game! Partnering with local creators of the original card game, SYNT Studio, we reimagined the popular play to include financial planning aspects that allow players to “pay, steal, sabo, and insure” their way to securing their dreams. Playful yet meaningful, the card game is a reminder of our role in helping people in Singapore stay protected as they pursue their aspirations and build the refreshed Singapore Compact. With cheeky twists that mirrors real-life challenges and life events, the game play demonstrates the importance of financial planning in supporting Singaporeans through life's uncertainties. While the limited-edition game pack is not for sale, there are a few ways that the public can get to experience it: 1️⃣ From 8 to 22 August, customers who purchase family travel insurance will receive a card pack as they stay protected for the shared experience of travelling together. 2️⃣ From 21 August, individuals who share their Singaporean Dreams creatively using our special filter on Instagram stand a chance to win the card pack, with 55 sets up for grabs. 3️⃣ From 1 September to 31 December, everyone is invited to experience the card game at any of our branches' pop-up play zones. “The Singaporean Dream means something different to everyone, and we believe that with proper financial planning and the right protection, people can feel confident turning those dreams into reality. As we look to the future, we are committed to standing beside Singaporeans for more years to come as they pursue their dreams with confidence.” - Andrew Yeo, Chief Executive at Income Insurance. In celebration of SG60, and alongside our 55th Anniversary, we are proud to be featured in CNA’s SG60 Shaping Tomorrow series, a special showcase that honours companies that have grown alongside Singapore over the decades. Featuring our Chief Executive, Andrew Yeo, and Chief Customer Officer, Dhiren Amin, in this episode, the story unfolds Income Insurance's journey through the decades, which is closely intertwined with the nation building efforts and Singaporeans' evolving needs. As part of this feature, we also cast the spotlight on our financial adviser representative, Wendy Soong and her long-time customer, Xiao Wen. This is one of the many examples of how Income Insurance has supported customers through different life stages. Income Insurance's journey, which began in 1970 to offer financial protection for all, continues as we strive to protect and serve the people of Singapore by closing the protection gaps for families, businesses, and vulnerable segments of society. #IncomeMadeYours #Income55 #ProtectingAndServingSingapore

Over Singapore’s 60th birthday weekend, we captured lots of smiles and happy faces as more than 10,000 free ice creams were given out at six locations across the island from Orchard, Clementi, Eunos to Bishan, Punggol and Tampines! As the nation celebrated 60 years, Income Insurance also marks 55 years of journeying with Singaporeans. In the spirit of marking these special milestones, we wanted to celebrate how far we’ve come, by paying a special tribute to the ‘uncles and aunties’ behind the Singapore's iconic ice cream carts. The collaboration was not merely about free treats, it was to preserve the cherished memories of these elderly vendors and ice cream carts who have been plying the streets since the 1960s, such as Auntie Goh and her husband who are familiar faces on Orchard Road and have been selling ice creams for more than 40 years. In addition to guaranteed ice cream sales over the weekend, each participating vendor will also receive complimentary personalised financial protection which supports their continued livelihood, such as either our SilverCare, a Personal Accident plan tailored for seniors or Motorcycle insurance. If you managed to get hold of our ice cream treat over the weekend, let us know in the comments below!

This National Day, we set out to preserve one of our country’s most beloved icons – the ice cream uncles and aunties. As a local insurer who has journeyed with Singaporeans the last 55 years, we have always looked to protect Singaporeans in ways that matter. That is why we are celebrating this occasion by spreading joy through free ice cream, and extending complimentary personalised financial protection to each participating ice cream uncle and aunty. 💬 “As Singapore turns 60, Income Insurance also marks 55 years of protection and care, journeying with Singaporeans through the decades. In the spirit of marking these special milestones, we want to celebrate how far we’ve come, hand in hand together with our now-senior ice cream uncles and aunties. They are more than a mere memory – they represent the warmth, spirit and resilience that define who we are.” - Mr. Dhiren Amin, Chief Customer Officer of Income Insurance. Join us this weekend as we thank these ice cream uncles and aunties for filling our stomach (and days) with joy for the last 60 years. Happy SG60! 🇸🇬

We recently launched the Income OrangeAid Caregiver Support Accelerator Grant, a key milestone in our continuous efforts to support communities in ways that truly matter. In a collaboration with National Council of Social Service (NCSS), we are contributing $10 million over 5 years to support and uplift the capabilities of the Social Service Agencies (SSAs) ecosystem in Singapore. Based on existing research, caregivers were found to be ‘barely coping’ and in need of stronger support urgently. Many continue with their caregiving duties, without help, despite suffering from chronic diseases and mobility difficulties themselves. Since caregivers are essential to the well-being of families, it is important that caregivers are better supported over time so that they are well placed to care for their loved ones. In addition, our society is projected to become super-aged by 2026, which further escalates the urgency for caregiver support given that one in four people in Singapore will be aged 65 and above by 2030. In recognising that Social Service Agencies (SSAs) are the primary touchpoint for caregivers, this significant initiative responds to some of critical care gaps that SSAs face in supporting caregivers of their beneficiaries but often lack dedicated resources to embed and enhance caregiver support in their beneficiary programmes. The launch of the Grant forms part of our broader efforts to foster a more resilient and inclusive society, as we mark our 55th Anniversary this year. The initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to invest $100 million in Singapore communities by 2030 via Income OrangeAid, our community development platform, which focuses on supporting vulnerable Singapore families particularly in the areas of financial adequacy and mental health, enabling seniors to age well as investing in our shared future through contributing to a climate resilient future. Watch the video and learn how the Grant is designed to uplift the SSA ecosystem to enhance caregiver support in SG! #IncomeMadeYours #SustainabilityMadeYours

Today, we are proud to announce that Income Insurance and National Council of Social Service (NCSS) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to launch the Income OrangeAid Caregiver Support Accelerator Grant. It comprises two grant calls over five years (2025–2030), at $10 million, to support caregiver programmes run by Social Service Agencies (SSAs) in Singapore as they are the key touchpoints to caregivers in families. Our multi-year support taps the deep sector expertise of the NCSS and SSA ecosystem and is also built on a more sustainable public-private partnership model where grantees must demonstrate tangible outcomes, programme scalability and impact, as well as financial sustainability of the programme to unlock the annual seed funding. This allows our support to go a longer way as more SSAs can be empowered to embed and enhance caregiver support in their beneficiary programmes to support more caregivers over the long term, even beyond the grant period. We envisage the Grant to be a change catalyst for selected SSAs to enhance their capabilities through funding, agile workshops, and programme innovation to scale their support for caregiver needs and improve their quality of life, especially in the areas of physical, mental, and financial well-being. This is significant especially when the NCSS' Quality of Life Studies on caregivers revealed significant support gaps in Singapore's caregiving landscape. For example, one in four caregivers expressed the need for additional services, particularly therapy and financial assistance. With Singapore’s increasingly ageing population, it is also estimated that one in two healthy Singaporeans could require long-term care by age 65. All of which points to the urgency for better caregiver support. The launch of the Grant forms part of our broader efforts to foster a more resilient and inclusive society, as we mark our 55th Anniversary this year. The initiative is part of our commitment to invest $100 million in Singapore communities by 2030 via Income OrangeAid, our community development platform. It signals our ongoing efforts to work alongside like-minded partners to protect, uplift, and empower the people of Singapore. Hence, we are heartened that the Singapore Government’s SG Gives Matching Grant will amplify the impact of this Grant by providing a matching to support key social and community programmes in Singapore. #IncomeMadeYours #SustainabilityMadeYours
