  • Our CTO, Peadar Coyle and our partners at Adclear joined this insightful roundtable discussion at the London AI Hub with senior leaders from Ofcom. The verdict? 👉 It was great to hear the shared appetite for growth in the context of regulation (a familiar balancing act for anyone involved in AI), and to hear more about the AI Opportunities Action Plan, which will put UK business in the driving seat for AI growth. 💡 Peadar outlined two key things to make those promises a reality: 1️⃣ Regulators need to be supportive of growth – not blockers to it 2️⃣ AI innovators need more clarity about the regulators they work with – or should be working with. It’s a push-and-pull scenario when technology can outpace a government’s ability to regulate it, which is why businesses need to shoulder their fair share of responsibility in their Trust, Safety & Ethics efforts. But for founders, it presents us a great opportunity to shape a pro-growth form of AI regulation, built on the realities that AI-native businesses are facing (and expect to face.) We outline this shift in the creative landscape in our own AI Transformation Whitepaper, which you can download by following the link here ➡️ https://lnkd.in/e24vUJwB

🤖 What do startups really think about Ofcom’s approach to #AI? We had a fantastic discussion at the London AI Hub — huge thanks to Husayn Kassai for hosting us 🙌 It was great to dive into our recently published Strategic Statement on AI with innovators and early-stage founders. Plenty of thoughtful discussion on: 🔹 How Ofcom can support safe and effective AI deployment in the communications sector 🔹 What it’s like for start-ups to work with a regulator — and how we can make that easier 🔹 The emerging opportunities and risks AI presents for consumers Engagement like this is exactly what we need to shape policy that’s not just future-facing, but founder-friendly too. 👥💡 📄 Read our Strategic Approach to AI here: https://lnkd.in/ercHXpRY Chia Seiler Fred Langford Simon Burley Rupert Elston Greg Marsh Ben Hawken Rich Waterworth Ritesh Singhania David Pugh-Jones 📹 Aaron Jones Peadar Coyle Manny Ahmed Rudy Wilson-Evans Joe Jordan Ties Boukema Tino Millar Chris R. #AIRegulation #Startups #SMEs #Ofcom #TechPolicy #AIethics

  • For omnichannel media strategists, Teads' UK CTV Pulse is rapidly becoming the year's essential 'state-of-the-nation' guide. Our own Zoe Poulson, joined the voices of Justin T. and Dan Black (Teads), Paul Gubbins (Tubi) and Jonathan Waite (Havas Media Network) to talk through the levers marketers should be pulling to get the most out of CTV – like interactivity, measurement and personalization through AI audio. It's a truly exciting time as the adoption curve for CTV in marketing strategy continues to rise. Read the Pulse Report below ⬇️ #ai #audio #ctv #streaming #omnichannel

  • Top insight from Peadar Coyle, explaining in one post what AI solution buyers need to know about the things that keep legal departments working late. For audio, it's often the simplest questions that give away the big risks they might be thinking about: can I clone a voice? Who owns the data? Those come up in 99% of our calls, and we love answering them, because they're the right questions to ask of any AI provider. (And if they're the right partner, they've done all the hard work up front.) #ai #compliance #legal #trust #safety #aisafety #audio

Founder - AudioStack | Enterprise grade audio for brands

Had an interesting conversation with a customer recently about the legal landscape around AI audio technology. They were asking about all the court cases happening with music platforms and whether businesses using synthetic audio should be worried. 🤔 Here's the thing that I think gets missed: when you use an established AI audio platform, you're a consumer, not a creator. The legal responsibility sits with the audio technology providers who actually develop and train these models. It's like using AWS - you don't worry about the underlying infrastructure compliance because Amazon handles that. Same principle applies here. ☁️ The platforms worth working with have already built the foundations: Voice actor consent systems for any cloned voices ✅ SOC2 and GDPR compliance for data handling 🔒 Content authenticity standards and transparency measures 🛡️ Proper licensing agreements with audio sources 📋 This stuff takes years to get right, not months. Building enterprise-grade AI audio compliance isn't something you prototype over a weekend. ⏰ What matters is picking a provider who's done the hard work upfront. The legal frameworks, the licensing agreements, the compliance measures - all of that should already be solved problems before you even start building. The customers who understand this distinction are the ones moving fastest. They're not getting bogged down in legal concerns because they've partnered with people who've already navigated that complexity. 🚀 If you're exploring AI audio technology, focus on the providers who've been thinking about these issues from day one. Your job is to innovate, not to become a legal expert in synthetic audio compliance.

  • What happens when DSPs unite ad creation and booking into a single workflow? 🤔 🗣️ "More buyers succeed by putting audio on their media plans and more publishers sell more inventory." That's what adpaq, a digital audio DSP, is already achieving for some of Europe's largest broadcasters. 🧩 And the missing piece was self-serve ad creation with AudioStack's API. There's a new normal for AdOps and AdTech with white-label, brand-safe, AI-powered creative automation. • Couldn't have said it better ourselves Original Audio 👍 If you missed out, here's the key takeaway: the 'meta' for audio production is completely changing with AI. How? • Agencies and Brands are already seeing data-to-creative workflows work in real-time, completely automated, delivering a level of personalization and scale that were previously impossible. 🔊 That means you'll start hearing much more personally relevant ads across more channels – your smart speaker and CTV ads, for starters. • Publishers and Broadcasters are creating incredible new content with AI audio – AI hosts handling the late shift on radio, audiofied news articles seamlessly generated when the written versions go live; exclusive audio features for in-car and in-flight entertainment. 🔊 All of which means new sellable inventory, too. • AdTechs will be able to embed self-serve audio creation directly within ad booking and buying workflows, sellable as whitelabel products to publishers. 🔊 In fact, new DSPs have already launched based solely on that premise. It's a new frontier for audio, and we're delighted to have shared the floor with some real visionaries in the space. The most exciting question is... Where next...? • We hacked the back-to-school campaign with in-game audio. Here's how 🎮 First, know one fact about in-game advertising: audio keeps attention like no other channel. Why? Because audio is non-intrusive. No loading screen. No [x] button to fiddle about with. Gameplay continues – and so does the listening. That's when brands get more attention, higher brand recall and elevated sales campaigns. So how did one retailer nail context and scale? AI audio. Personalized ads, versioned by AI, delivered in the places students were: playing mobile games. You can do it, too. And in time for your next back-to-school campaign 🕰️ See how here 👇 https://lnkd.in/ez7TXuu9 #audio #advertising #ai #aiaudio #audiostack
