Last week, Antoine Pommet, Regional Sales Manager Camlin Energy joined Stefano Stagni, Malcolm Fletcher FBCS, CITP and Tom Guilbaud in Madrid, where they were invited by the British Embassy Spain and Invest Northern Ireland - Europe, to meet with some of Spain’s leading Independent Power Producers (IPPs). The team presented at a technical seminar on Transformer Monitoring. The session wasn’t just about sensors and probes — it was a valuable forum to dive into real-world case studies and explore what we can offer beyond the box in terms of asset reliability and performance. A special highlight came from our key customer and partner acciona energia, who shared how they’ve been using our #TOTUS solution over the past few years to increase energy production by improving asset availability. A big thank you to; Stefano Stagni from our Asset Expert team, who showcased the depth of expertise we bring to transformer diagnostics. Recently, our Solutions Engineer, Dennis Fleming, travelled to southern Texas to support the installation of our #TOTUS transformer monitoring system for a leading Texas renewables provider. The monitoring solution includes 9 gas DGA, bushing, and TFC monitoring of their step-up transformer at the customer's 300MW wind farm. With temperatures soaring past 100°F (40°C), it was a tough environment for the team to endure.
