Today is National Cycle to Work Day in the UK.   A day aimed at promoting the health benefits and sustainability of eco-conscious travel. Whether you’re a dedicated cyclist or a curious beginner, today offers the perfect opportunity to choose cycling for your daily commute.   We are very lucky that the surrounding areas of our Manchester office are currently undergoing a period of transformational change and regeneration, rebalancing the area in favour of pedestrians and cyclists.   The project is set to be finalised in April 2026, as part of a long term plan to build high quality, safer pedestrian and cycling provisions across the city centre.   We can’t wait to see the end result, but, for now, we are intrigued as to how our connections commute to work?   #CycleToWorkDay #Commute #SustainableTravel

Gen Z are beginning to enter the legal sector, bringing with them a host of fresh ideas and a modernised approach to work. By 2030 they are set to make up more than 30% of the workforce. Holding different values, career expectations and communication styles, it is clear that they are certainly challenging the traditional perspectives of the legal profession. It is essentially for law firms to adapt quickly, so that they can attract and retain a more socially conscious and digitally connected generation of lawyers, in addition to being able to position themselves as leaders in an evolving legal landscape. Linklaters has achieved a record set of financial results for the year ended April 2025. Revenue at the Magic Circle firm hit an incredible £2.32 billion, which is a substantial increase of 11% from the year prior. Profit per equity partner (PEP) also saw a notable rise of 15% to £2.2 million, another incredible financial result for the firm. According to the firm, the results were driven by strong growth across all core markets, particularly in the US where profit saw the biggest augmentation, rising by 57%. Alongside this, the firm welcomed 27 lateral partner hires and elected 34 new partners globally during the financial year, a clear representation of their fantastic progress. Yesterday the Interlink team completed a 14km walk for our fantastic house charity Diabetes UK!   The walk was a great success, with everyone coming together to raise money for such an excellent cause and the weather staying bright for us.   At the end of the day we headed over to our very own Sam Disley Joyson’s family pub, where we received a very warm welcome and a delicious dinner!   We are proud to announce that we have officially raised an incredible £2,000 for the charity so far!
