📣 We’re hiring our Founding Head of Talent and Senior Talent Leads for both GTM and Engineering at Omnea. We don’t like how most Talent functions operate: high volume, low context, reactive. We’re building a lean team of top performers and an incredible talent density, and we believe Talent should be a strategic superpower and the core competitive advantage at Omnea. That’s why we’re designing our org to look more like an elite exec search firm: outbound-led, deeply commercial, high-judgment, and obsessed with quality over quantity. ⭐ For the Founding Head of Talent, we are looking for someone who: - Has scaled from early-stage to hundreds of people and led full-stack hiring - Has built high performing teams before & obsesses over talent density - Is a world-class closer: commercial, persuasive, fast - Wants to be the top performer, while scaling a team around them 📈 For the GTM Senior Talent Lead, we are looking for someone who: - Can build and own the full hiring engine across AEs, Sales Engineers, Commercial Associates, Account Managers, and more - Partners directly with our CCO to define roles and drive hiring across UK & US - Acts like a top seller: sharp outbound, quality pitch, ruthless prioritisation 🛠️ For the Engineering Senior Talent Lead, we are looking for someone who: - Can scale our engineering team into tens of top performers without lowering the bar - Works side-by-side with our Engineering leaders on hiring strategy, process, and top-of-funnel - Can credibly pitch to senior engineers and create a standout candidate experience 🚀 We’ve 6x’d revenue since our $20m Series A (Accel, First Round, Point Nine) and customers like Spotify, Monzo, and Wise love the Omnea product. Now’s the moment to build the team that takes us from < 100 to hundreds of people in the coming years. You’ll work directly with our leadership team to shape how we attract and hire exceptional people. If that sounds like your kind of challenge — let’s talk. 👉 https://lnkd.in/g9BDTBmd 👉 https://lnkd.in/g_WCURGb 👉 https://lnkd.in/gfz2MepQ 💰 £10,000 referral bonus for successful hires.

🚀 "We didn’t want a one-size-fits-all solution. We wanted the right tool for the job—and a partner that genuinely wanted to help us get it right." We’re excited to announce our partnership with BrainRocket, one of Europe’s fastest-growing software development companies. As BrainRocket scales, James Howes has taken a best-of-breed approach to building their procurement tech stack, prioritising adoption, automation, and agility. After evaluating the full market, from P2Ps to negotiation platforms, he chose Omnea as the foundation. “Omnea’s orchestration layer gives us the flexibility to integrate with our AP systems where it makes sense—without compromising on core procurement functionality or speed. It’s created the strongest possible foundation for our procurement tech stack—and the agility to evolve it over time by integrating the right tools for each team when needed.” 📘 Check out the The Procurement Ledger profile of James, where he shares how BrainRocket built a process-first procurement strategy designed for scale: https://lnkd.in/gRyYfTAK 💡 Read the full story behind his decision to partner with Omnea: https://lnkd.in/gcecp7a9

AI isn’t about what it can promise—it’s about what it actually delivers. That’s been our belief since day one at Omnea. We’re AI-native, founded in a post-GPT world—and we’ve built with a clear philosophy: AI should make our platform faster, clearer, and smarter for the people actually using it. That's why 100% of our customers use Omnea AI in one way or another. Now, as our platform evolves, so does our approach to AI. We’re introducing three pillars to guide everything we build:  💡 Omnea Assist. Makes requests seamless. 🛠 Omnea Command. Makes configuration and management simple.  📊 Omnea Analyze. Delivers insights in seconds. The first of these new capabilities are already live, including conversational intake, RFx generation, and personalized request summaries. This time last week, we were in NYC 🇺🇸 bringing together an incredible group of procurement leaders for an evening of conversation and connection. These dinners create space to speak openly with peers facing similar challenges—and to learn how others are approaching growth, governance, and transformation. Thanks to everyone who joined us! If you’d like to be invited to a future dinner, send us a message. Next stops: London and San Diego.

🎙️ "When we're involved early, 9.6% savings. When we're involved late, 4% if you're lucky.” That 5% delta is the difference between influencing spend—and reacting to it. In this episode of The Procurement Initiative Leaders Podcast, Alexander Pilsl (CPO at TeamViewer) shares how he reshaped procurement into a strategic, value-driving function. From ditching clunky ERP processes to rolling out a modern orchestration layer with Omnea, it’s a conversation packed with lessons for teams looking to scale procurement’s impact. Listen to learn: ✅ Why orchestration was the cornerstone of the transformation ✅ How early involvement led to measurable P&L impact ✅ What it means to build for iteration, not just implementation 🎧 Tune in here → https://lnkd.in/eNGwsByx

When therapy isn’t enough, consider joining a startup. Imposter syndrome? Welcome! No one knows what they’re doing. Anxiety? No time for thoughts (you’re triple-booked). But how do you know which startup should replace your therapist? Every founder will pitch you: - The next ‘category defining’ business in an industry ‘ripe for disruption’ - Exponential growth projections like crypto in 2021 - A fast-paced role with ‘real ownership’ and ‘impact’ (and of course, lots of LFG 🚀 🚀 ) But you’re taking on as much of a risk joining as they are on you. The earlier you get, the higher the risk-reward ceiling. But the harder it can be to tell if this is a good opportunity. So here’s how to vet a startup offer in 10 questions. 💸 The Basics (a.k.a. do they actually have a business?) 1. “What do you do?” If they can’t explain it clearly in 1-2 lines, they don't know either. 2. “What's your background?” Have they built before? Do they know the industry they're building in? 😬 The Uncomfortable Questions (a.k.a. are they running out of money?) 3. “What is your traction so far? Who are your investors? What's your runway?” Ask for real numbers and names, transparency works both ways. 4. “What’s the biggest blocker to growth right now?” Understand if it's something the team can work on. 📈 The Actual Role (a.k.a. is there value for you?) 5. “Why are you hiring for this role now?” Are you a strategic headcount, a new experiment, or actually patching a hole? 6. “What will the day-to-day actually look like?” Startup work is unglamorous, but make sure you're not being hired to take meeting notes. 7. “If I crush it, what might I be doing a year from now?” Don't expect a structured pathway, but get a sense of whether they will care about your progression and growth. 💁 Culture Check (a.k.a. is this a workplace or a cult?) 8. “If there’s one thing you could change about the culture, what would it be?” Everyone will say great things - framing it this way forces them to go beyond the surface level. 💰 Comp & Equity (a.k.a. what's the actual risk-reward ratio) 9. “What’s your equity refresh policy?” Most people ask about initial equity. Almost no one asks how it evolves. 10. “How did you come up with this comp package?” Find out if they actually benchmark - there are lots of great resources available. Comment COMP and I’ll send you a list I've compiled.
