Last week, we successfully completed one of our world-renowned Expanding Cylinder Moulds (ECM), now on its way to a valued customer in Europe. The video below offers a glimpse of the craftsmanship and engineering behind our ECM, while also demonstrating how quick and straightforward it is to remove and handle a grid set. Originally developed in collaboration with experts from the banknote industry, our ECM has since been continually enhanced through our own in-house research and engineering innovations, ensuring it delivers unmatched performance and efficiency for paper mills worldwide. The key benefits include: Unmatched expansion range – 220 mm diameter adjustment, covering most sheet sizes with a single central body. Reduced capital costs – fewer moulds per machine mean lower investment and simplified operations. Rapid cover changes – all 24 grids swapped in under two hours, no special lifting equipment required. Superior sheet formation – advanced bar and grid design for high-speed consistency. Flexible, efficient operation – 70 mm grid plate expansion minimises waste. Easy cleaning & maintenance – open, robust design speeds up upkeep. Improved run time & cover life – overlapping grids ensure consistent support and reduce wear.
