A family-owned campground between Boston and Cape Cod was just named the best RV getaway in the nation.
USA Today released a list of the 10 best RV campgrounds in America on Wednesday, part of its 2025 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards, and Normandy Farms in Foxborough ranked No. 1.
The RV campgrounds on the list “boast top-notch amenities, beautiful scenery, and proximity to some of the nation’s most captivating destinations,” wrote USA Today.
Here is what USA Today wrote about Normandy Farms:
“This New England camping location has been in business since 1971. In addition to great RV sites, the resort also features four swimming pools, a jacuzzi and sauna, a fitness center, and a disc golf course. You’ll also find bocce, pickleball, a fishing pond, and tennis courts here, and there are golf carts you can rent to get around this fantastic property with ease. “
Normandy Farms celebrated on social media on Wednesday, writing on Facebook that the team is “beyond excited” about being named the best.
“Thank you to our incredible guests, dedicated team, and everyone who voted for us!” wrote campground officials. “Nestled between Boston & Cape Cod in Foxborough, MA, we’ve been creating unforgettable family camping memories since 1971.”
The Daniels family bought the land in 1759 and has worked it for 10 generations. The property began as a working farm with dairy, poultry, and sheep and was transformed into a campground in 1971. It has grown over the decades and today the campground spans more than 100 acres and offers more than 400 campsites with a variety of accommodations such as cabins, yurts, and safari tents. Another Massachusetts campground made the list as well: Spacious Skies Minute Man in Littleton ranked No. 8. That campground “brims with cabins, tent sites, and full hookup spaces for RVs, with added amenities spanning from a dog park to a swimming pool,” wrote the publication.
For the 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards lists, USA Today travel experts select 20 nominees in topics from food to lodging, destinations to things to do. Then the publication asks readers to cast votes to determine the top 10.

Normandy Farms was also recently named among 10 lavish RV campsites for top-level glamping by RV Trader, which wrote, “It blends classic New England charm with next-level amenities the whole crew will love — yes, even your pup.”
