Heavy transport specialist Roll Group has added the wide deck carrier Bigroll KMC Beamont on a long-term charter from its partner KMC Bluewhale. The vessel was delivered in Singapore and will begin operations immediately.
Measuring 139 m long and with a 32 m-wide deck, Bigroll KMC Beaumont will add to Roll Group’s ability to transport heavy and oversized cargoes across key markets, chiefly in the renewable energy and oil and gas sectors.
“This multi-year agreement supports our ongoing commitment to deliver integrated and highly reliable transport solutions for complex cargo,” said Peter Rondhuis, ceo at Roll Group.
KMC Bluewhale is one of Roll Group’s strategic partners in heavy marine transportation. The Bigroll KMC Beaumont is one of two state-of-the-art vessels in the company’s fleet designed to meet the evolving needs of global logistics and offshore construction. In December 2025, Roll Group will add Bigroll KMC Busan on a multi-year agreement as part of this collaboration with KMC Bluewhale.
In June 2025, Roll Group expanded its US operations with a project office and yard in Saint Gabriel, Louisiana.
