Mehmet Oz, the former TV talk show host and heart surgeon known as “Dr. Oz” who now leads the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, revealed that he works beneath a portrait of Donald Trump.
In a promo video for his interview that aired Saturday with Fox News’ Lara Trump — the president’s daughter-in-law — Oz proudly displayed the painting, which he said is a replica of one that hangs at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort.
The artwork, he said, is “meaningful in a lot of ways.”
“I do think it portrays the brave look into the future, the willingness to sacrifice everything to do the right thing,” he sycophantically added.
Oz claimed the president doesn’t know it’s hanging in his office.
“So don’t tell him I have it, shhhh,” he said, joking it might even be the original.
