Here's how you can conquer resistance to change when introducing new technology to your team.

Understanding resistance to change might not be as complicated as it seems. My take on this is first to analyse potential reasons, like workload, understanding of the concept, competence gaps, or whatever could be causing their doubts. Once understood - you need to take different actions depending on your findings. From my experience, it's usually the lack of correlation to what you eventually gain (business value) by implementing this. Once understood, it becomes easier to build competence through training and assigning champions.

Feedback: Kontinuierlich Rückmeldungen einholen und darauf reagieren.

Communicate the reasons behind the change, involve the team in decision-making, provide training and ongoing support, address concerns openly, highlight success stories, lead by example, and celebrate milestones to encourage adoption.

Communication is the very best way to do this. Because when you are going to communicate within the team then that time you'll get different ideas about that new technology. For that you have to keep clear vision so from that mindset you can think.

communication is key when it come to change, keeping open channels of communication about a proposed change can actually turn possible resistance into eagerness for change, involve your team in fine tuning the change to feel encouraged and confident about it.

involve your team not only with final trainings, but also with user acceptance testing, let them get a feel of the new change and tweak it to better fit, this in my experience furnished the road to a smooth transition every time.

Everyone knows that by doing regular duty after that no one has energy to do more work or to learn something. But during working hours we can manage 1 to 2 hrs of training on new technologies so that will help employees to learn something new and also they will feel happy by learning new technologies as well.

Bringing new technology on the table is a difficult change to accept and implement for the team. Hence, while you are being patient and supportive with your team, make sure to keep a close check on their milestones achieved and celebrate even the tiniest successes! This not only boost their confidence but also encourages them to do better and makes them believe that they are going well with this new technology. The celebrations need not be huge. Only yhe kind gesture and motivation matters :)

As you must be observing your team's progress on the new technology, keep an eye of the ones who are doing it in the best way possible. Through the help of these individuals, encourage the team to foster change and new improvements like them. When a team member explains the benefits of accepting the change, the team can relate more and can lead to a positive impact on their outlook. Hence, utilise these champions to brush off the team's resistance to technological changes.

Whenever you are bringing any kind of change to your brand, the most vital thing to rely on is feedback. Feedback loops help to understand on spot, what the members are thinking about the change and whether they feel its right or wrong. Hence, after a while of helping your team exercise this new technology, pass them a feedback form, survey or conduct a meeting to understand their thoughts. Encourage them to speak openly even if it's a negative feedback, so that mistakes can be recognised and rectified.

Also, we have to ensure employees that if there is any need then the leader or any senior employee will help them in that situation. So because of that the employee will feel like the leader or senior employee are going to help them in their difficulties then surely they will also learn new technologies.
