A lot of clients (and agencies) need help in this area. Not because they are bad communicators, but because a lot of the time clients want to give feedback but are afraid of upsetting people. We have to make sure that clients are comfortable giving open and honest feedback. That means not picking fights with them or refusing to do stuff as an agency, which SO many agencies do. It's almost like the client is seen as a problem rather than part of the solution.

For me, I often break my sessions into four types of involvement and opinion interactive, team, entire group and individual. Be welcoming! The beauty of user experience or any ideation sprint, is that it's multidisciplinary. Be mindful & respectful of cultural diversity and difference in rationality. It's not rocket science.
