When I started working as a Graduate Accountant in 2015, I was told by my supervisor to do a tracker to keep track of acquittals from the different Uni centers in the Country. I did a tracker seeing a sample online without consulting my supervisor. The tracker I submitted was rejected because they have their standard tracker to track acquittals. I did a totally different thing compared to the tracker they use. I learnt that In order to get things right, ask questions and when you don't get a feedback, take another step. Time management is vital. Get things correct in the first instance and not after when you realized you did the wrong thing. Always make notes of things you have done wrong or did wrong, it will remind you NOT to do it again.

The biggest thing that I have come to learn is that human error exist. It is of course not intentional, however it does happen. Ana because of that there are many systems and technologies in place to assist in reducing those errors. Grammarly is a great example. It proofreads and reduces errors that the human eye might miss. In conclusion, systems and technologies are our friends and when utilized effectively, it can benefit you tremendously.
