Emotional intelligence helps you handle constant criticism with confidence and composure. Self-awareness lets you recognize emotional triggers and separate helpful feedback from negativity. Self-reliance anchors your confidence in your values and strengths, not others’ opinions. Empathy helps you understand critics’ perspectives, addressing valid points while ignoring unhelpful remarks. Self-control ensures calm, thoughtful responses. Together, these skills turn criticism into growth, not a threat.

As Evan’s social media manager, I see how he handles criticism with grace. First, he doesn’t take it personally—criticism is often a reflection of others, not him. He focuses on the bigger picture: his mission to empower entrepreneurs. He turns negativity into fuel for growth. He reminds himself that success isn’t about pleasing everyone—it’s about staying true to his purpose and values. For anyone facing criticism, I encourage you to focus on your “why,” embrace feedback as an opportunity to improve, and remember: your confidence comes from your belief in your journey, not others’ opinions. #BELIEVE 💥 - Rae (from Evan's Team)

Constructive criticism can help you grow. But when the criticism is not constructive, it is best to check the source and the intention. it is good to remind yourself why you do what Iyou do and the people I am helping. Confidence doesn’t come from pleasing everyone; it comes from staying experience, aligning your values, learning when needed, and letting go of negativity.

I never let criticism destruct myself, why, because criticism comes with observations, opinions of someone. If someone criticise you, it means they observe you and analyse your decision, take it as positive lessons. Criticism can be positive n negative both. Take it with a pride. Simple

Facing constant criticism can feel personal, but it’s often the best clarity you’ll ever get for growth. Here’s how to turn feedback into fuel: • Separate emotion from insight • Engage with humility and curiosity • Refine your message, not your mission After all, even diamonds are shaped under pressure—just with better PR.

Criticism defined is the expression of disapproval of someone or something based on perceived faults or mistakes. The key word is "perceived." To continue with the scholarly view, let's look at the original meaning of "Criticus", which is criticism's Latin root word. Criticus means fit or suitable for deciding; capable of judging. As people and leaders, we can reflect on criticism as it applies as a whole - to us, the topic, the situation, the critic, etc. It helps our self-awareness and gives perspective, exploring the critic's perception to see if there's any validity and if they are truly capable to judge in respect to us, the topic at hand, or the situation. Everyone can point out problems, but few can truly offer viable solutions.

Focus on what you know. The world has turned into an episode of Jerry Springer. Everyone is yelling at everyone, but nothing is getting done. Everyone has their own viewpoint and agenda, often just to get into a digital argument. Stay true to yourself and your message, take the criticism with a grain of salt, and move on.
