Helping accelerate digital transformation of Industry by educating the market on IIoT, Industry 4.0 and Transformation

About us

4.0 Solutions is your one stop shop for all things Industry 4.0 and IIoT. We were created around the concept of the restructuring the way we think about systems integrators, suppliers, hardware & software manufacturers, and distributors in a way that is compatible with the 4th industrial revolution. The typical integrator, distributor, and supplier are all build using a business model build around Industry 3.0. In order to successfully execute Enterprise-Class Industry 4.0 projects, you need to work with a distributor, integrator, software, and hardware solutions that have an Industry 4.0 mindset. Our goal is to identify vendors, integrators, and technologies that we have identified as the best solutions for Industry 4.0 and communicate them to our customers. 4.0 Solutions is not an integrator. We don't sell services. We only sell products. We are also passionate about educating the marketplace in the form of educational training videos to learn how to implement 4.0 Systems using #IIoT methodologies. We connect you with the right products and integrators to help you build your dream manufacturing environment. Check out our website to learn more! http://www.iiot.university

What happens when the best minds in industrial tech come together — and drop the sales decks?   You get Day 1 of ICC 2025.   From the main stage to the Proving Grounds, it was a day of real architectures, bold ideas, and unfiltered truth about what’s working (and what isn’t) in industrial automation and digital transformation.   Oh — and Inductive Automation officially launched Ignition 8.3, their most powerful release to date.   This wasn’t just a product drop — it was a statement. Every division at IA had a hand in it, and the result speaks for itself.   Whether you were: → Learning about Model-Context-Protocol   → Exploring Unified Namespace in action   → Watching vendors prove real solutions in the ProveIt! Showcases   → Or just soaking in the energy of this growing community...   You were part of something special.   🎥 Catch the Day 1 highlight reel now   And big thanks to Inductive Automation for creating the space for this kind of event to exist — and scale.   #ICC2025 #Ignition83 #ProveIt2025 #UnifiedNamespace #DigitalTransformation #IndustrialAutomation #SmartManufacturing #Ignition #4pt0 #MCP #NoFluff #TechCommunity #WalkerReynolds #40Solutions

“It was 2 a.m. and I found myself taking inventory of the day — thinking about all the cool things we saw.”   That’s how Day 2 of ICC 2025 ends.   It started with a technical keynote that didn’t hold back:   * Composable architectures   * Composable projects   * And the launch of the MCP module — a breakthrough for how we think about modeling industrial systems.   It continued with conversations about distributed systems, containerization, and AI — not as buzzwords, but as tools being deployed right now to solve real problems.   And it was grounded in something deeper: “Our mission was to break down barriers… to make integrators’ lives better.” – Travis Cox, Inductive Automation   You could feel it everywhere — in the way Flow Software Inc. nailed their ProveIt! session, in the way Kanoa built a full MES in eight weeks, and in how engineers across the event kept asking smarter, more focused questions.   One attendee said it best: “This isn’t just software. This is about transforming manufacturing… and rebuilding the middle class.”   🎥 Watch the Day 2 highlight for the full story.   And thank you to Inductive Automation — for the platform, the partnership, and the continued commitment to putting engineers first.   #ICC2025 #Ignition83 #MCP #ProveIt2026 #DigitalTransformation #UnifiedNamespace #ComposableArchitecture #SmartManufacturing #IndustrialAutomation #TechLeadership #4pt0 #WalkerReynolds #40Solutions

“If a vendor can’t tell you what problem they solve, how they solved it, how long it took, and how much it costs — RUN.” Walker Reynolds took the stage this morning in the Proving Grounds at ICC 2025 to welcome vendors, partners, and attendees to the ProveIt! Showcase — where solutions compete, transparency is non-negotiable, and the art of the possible is center stage. In true Walker fashion — no fluff, no filler — this kickoff sets the tone for the next two and a half days. He breaks down: • Why most conferences miss the mark • How Unified Namespace creates clarity across complex tech stacks • What real interoperability looks like • And why ProveIt! exists: to force vendors to prove their value, not pitch it If you weren’t in the room, we’ve got you covered. 🎥 Watch the full kickoff speech here at the link in the comments below. And keep following along — we’ll be recapping all the sessions and giving you a behind-the-scenes look as it unfolds. Big thanks to Inductive Automation for hosting us and collaborating to make this possible. 🔥 Today’s ProveIt! sessions feature: Opto 22 SiteSync Flow Software Inc. • Day 1 of ICC, looking forward to a phenomenal event. 15 vendors showing the art of the possible with their ProveIt! Showcases, and just all around great networking and fellowship. And of course, some really big announcements from Inductive Automation and more! Let’s go!!

  • Welcome to the ProveIt! Showcase! Today marks setup and rehearsal day here at ICC, and Walker Reynolds kicked things off by welcoming our Showcase vendors and laying out what to expect over the next few days. As the room is coming alive with hardware, networking gear, and some serious innovation, Walker reminded everyone of the why behind this space: To prove what’s possible with open, interoperable technology — live, in real time, using real systems. This year’s ProveIt! Showcase at ICC, hosted in partnership with Inductive Automation, is about more than demos. It’s about collaboration. It’s about transparency. And it’s about showing the industry what the art of the possible really looks like — no smoke, no mirrors. Follow along this week as we share behind-the-scenes looks, vendor highlights, and real use cases from the show floor. And if you're attending ICC, come by the Proving Grounds and say hi — we’d love to meet you. 📸 Pictured: Walker laying the foundation for an incredible week at the ProveIt!
