Big thanks to everyone who joined us last night! A.E. Perkins, in partnership with Accresa, hosted an energizing conversation around Direct to Employer (DTE) healthcare—what’s working, where it’s going, and how we can cut out the noise to deliver better care at lower cost. Appreciate our partners at Jefferson Physician Group, Patient Physician Network, Key Benefit Administrators - Derek Moore, and LeadWell Healthcare Consultants - Ann M. Richardson, MBA for sharing their insights. More to come—DFW, we’re just getting started. #DTE #HealthcareThatWorks #AEPerkins #ValueBasedCare

Hospitals are losing money on employed primary care physicians—but are the proposed solutions just band-aids on a broken system? The House just passed The Big, Beautiful Bill and for DPC advocates, this is a landmark win. DPC fees are now HSA-eligible. Starting in 2026, individuals can use HSA funds tax-free to pay for DPC arrangements — up to $150/month (or $300 for families). DPC no longer disqualifies HSA participation. This long-overdue fix means patients no longer have to choose between the care model they love and the tax advantages they deserve. At Accresa, we’ve been on the front lines of this fight for over a decade. Today, we celebrate real progress and the promise of what comes next. “The enhancements to HSAs including making DPC a 213(d) expense will help individuals and employers obtain, save for, and increase access to affordable, better healthcare solutions.” — William C. Short, CEO, Accresa This isn’t just a policy change, it’s validation of a care model that prioritizes trust, transparency, and outcomes. To every physician, employer, policymaker, and advocate who’s helped push this forward: thank you. This win belongs to all of us. #DirectPrimaryCare #DPC #HSA #HealthcareReform #HealthPolicy #ValueBasedCare #Accresa #DPCWorks #DPCWins
