We're a social impact company providing technology to power aid and benefits programs at scale.
About us
Accessing aid and public benefits shouldn’t be frustrating, inefficient, or dehumanizing—but too often, it is. Complex applications, long wait times, and unnecessary stigma create barriers that leave the most vulnerable behind while stretching administrative resources thin. At AidKit, we’re here to change that. Our mission is to make aid radically accessible, empowering individuals and families to get the support they need with dignity and ease—while improving efficiency for the organizations that serve them. Our innovative platform streamlines every step of aid administration, reducing overhead costs and saving time for nonprofits and governments. By automating complex processes and ensuring accuracy, we make programs faster and more efficient, allowing teams to focus on impact. At the same time, our robust security and fraud prevention measures ensure that support reaches only those who qualify. AidKit is more than a technology solution; it’s a vision for a future where delivering aid is as efficient as it is compassionate. Together, we’re building benefits programs that are cost-effective, impactful, and empowering for all.

Becoming a Certified B Corp isn’t the finish line. For AidKit, it’s a reflection of how we’ve been building from day one. 🙌 Our Chief Impact Officer and co-founder, Katrina Van Gasse, shares AidKit’s journey to certification and how the process affirmed our commitment to building technology that delivers aid with dignity, strengthens communities, and supports the people managing these programs every day. 💟 It’s been a few months since we earned our certification, but the journey — and the values behind it — are ongoing. 📖 Read Katrina’s reflections here: https://lnkd.in/gaX-JeMx #BCorp #SocialImpact #TechForGood #AidWithDignity | B Lab | B Lab U.S. & Canada

Behind every public benefit program are people - parents, caseworkers, frontline staff - navigating complex systems with limited time and resources. Today at APHSA -- American Public Human Services Association's Economic Mobility and Well-Being Conference, join us for a candid look at what it takes to modernize benefits delivery without losing the human touch. 🫶 📍 Human-Centered Automation in Action: Boulder County’s Approach 🎤 Featuring Emily Darrell, MPH, MCHES from Boulder County Human Services and Hannah Burke from AidKit 🗓️ Monday, Aug 25, 2025 | 3:30 - 4:30pm Central time They’ll share how Boulder County reimagined service delivery using secure, scalable tools — and why the tech alone isn’t the full story. AidKit’s CEO, Brittany Christenson, is also in town for the conference. So if you’re here in Minneapolis this week, we’d love to connect! Come say hi or drop us a message. 👋 #PublicBenefits #CashTransfers #HumanCenteredDesign #AidWithDignity

Last week I had the privilege of supporting the SaverLife team alongside Leigh Phillips and Mariel Beasley at the AI for Economic Opportunity Demo Day at OpenAI's offices. Watching their mission come through in product form was the highlight for me. I left inspired by the range of organizations showing how AI can unlock real opportunity. The common thread was clear: there is a huge opportunity to put AI to use as a 𝗻𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿—a guide through systems that are often overwhelming. Visionary organizations, funders and government all have a key role to play in unlocking this enormous potential. Because the burdens of paperwork and complex financial systems can be lifted through personalized assistance at scale. I'm grateful my team at Telos Labs played a role helping SaverLife bring a financial navigator to life (rooted in real member data and safeguards) through design and engineering. Congrats to all the wonderful orgs that presented: - BestFit, Inc. using AI to match students and job-seekers with public benefits, increasing SNAP access and delivering hundreds of dollars in support per household. - Center for Employment Opportunities piloting an AI “role-play coach” that helps people returning from incarceration practice interviews, workplace conversations, and employer outreach. - Credential Engine converting incomplete college coursework into credential-aligned skills records, giving millions of Americans without degrees new visibility and pathways to better jobs. - GiveDirectly + AidKit building conversational AI enrollment for safety net programs like WIC, SNAP, and TANF, and scaling direct cash pilots such as Rx Kids in Michigan. - Justicia Lab creating AI-enabled tools like ReclamoApp to help immigrants and advocates identify problems and access trusted legal support. - Mobile Pathways operating Pathfinder AI, which tracks case deadlines and work permits for thousands of immigrants each day, reducing deportations and protecting livelihoods. - Recidiviz applying AI and data integration to correctional systems to identify release eligibility and improve case manager decision-making for hundreds of thousands of people. - SaverLife introducing an AI financial navigator that provides personalized, judgment-free guidance to help thousands of working families maximize income, reduce debt, and save - Scholarship America developing AI matching tools to connect more students with scholarships, leveling the playing field for first-generation and underrepresented learners. A heartfelt thank you to Matt Zieger at the 𝗚𝗶𝘁𝗟𝗮𝗯 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 and Alex Nawar at 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗔𝗜 for hosting such a wonderful event and convening this community.

Groceries are more expensive than ever—and our partners are taking action. Cash assistance is emerging as one of the most effective ways to support food security. Delivered on prepaid cards, it can be adapted to meet the needs of each community: Restricted cash: ensures funds are spent on groceries, while still giving families the dignity of choosing where to shop. Unrestricted cash: gives families flexibility to cover other essentials like energy and propane that help them cook and put food on the table. Either way, philanthropy and local leaders are stepping up to fill gaps so families can stay nourished and resilient in the face of rising costs.
More than money movement. Complete aid delivery. Supporting food security efforts with fast, flexible aid, without extra administrative burden. 💵 ➡️ 🍲 🌯 🍛 #PublicBenefits #CashTransfers #TechForGood #AidWithDignity

✨ What an inspiring Demo Day! At SBNC, we shared how our AI-powered tool is transforming access to basic needs for college students. Since January, we’ve referred more than 10,000 students to $37 million in SNAP and Medicaid benefits, with almost 100 new students using the tool every day. Unlike other tools, ours is the only end-to-end solution that takes students from being screened to actually enrolled—removing barriers that have kept 2 in 3 eligible students from accessing the support they deserve. Of course, this wouldn’t be possible without our partners at Impactica and HumanServices.ai (HSAI). A huge thank you to OpenAI, GitLab Foundation, and Ballmer Group for supporting solutions that bridge technology, equity, and opportunity. We’re also grateful to have pitched alongside such an incredible group of innovators: BestFit, Inc., The Burnes Center for Social Change, CampusEvolve, Center for Employment Opportunities, Credential Engine, GiveDirectly, AidKit, Justicia Lab, Mobile Pathways, Recidiviz, SaverLife, Scholarship America, Social Finance, and The National Accreditation Commission. We left Demo Day energized and more committed than ever to building systems where every student can thrive. We are currently seeking funding to expand this work and would love to connect with investors, program officers, or philanthropists who want to be part of this movement. #AIforGood #StudentBasicNeeds #EconomicOpportunity #SocialImpact
