ICE is unlawfully detaining immigrants in overcrowded holding cells—essentially cages—far exceeding the 12-hour limit set by ICE’s own policies. Lawmakers went to conduct oversight of the facility in Baltimore and were stonewalled when asking how detainees are being treated inside.
