Meet Applecart’s Vice President of Business Development, Peter Greenberger! Prior to joining Applecart, Peter began his career in politics, working on several Presidential, Senatorial, and local campaigns as well as spending time at the White House in the Office of Legislative Affairs. He later transitioned over to the private sector, where he led political sales for Google and X, and served as publisher of The Hill. Applecart bravely raced around Midtown Manhattan to complete the Great Gotham Challenge! Small groups put their problem-solving and teamwork skills to the test to solve clues in a tight race to the finish line and first-place bragging rights.    Congratulations to our winners Leslie Caddick, Thomas Jones, Claire (Kuzara) Beirise, Meagan Burston, and Madeline Groves for conquering the challenge in just 1 hour and 52 minutes! Last month, Applecart Senior Managing Directors Joe Farren, Kerri Allen, M.P.S., and Colin Tooze celebrated the beginning of spring by hosting a happy hour for our New Jersey clients and friends at Stirling Tavern in Morristown. We are excited to share that Bain & Company’s venture fund, Future Back Ventures by Bain & Company, recently announced that they made an investment in Applecart. Bain partners understand the needs of Fortune 500 C-suites better than almost anyone, and we are proud that they saw such value in Applecart’s platform that they decided to invest their own capital in support of our growth.  Along our journey, we’ve been blessed to work with many outstanding Bainies, including our board member Jennifer Scott Fonstad and Chief of Staff Kendall (D'Amore) Harper. “The only reason we didn’t have mass street panic in America [in the 2008 financial crisis] was because of the personal computer. My grandma called me in the middle of all this and said ‘Are we going to have bank lines like we did when I was a kid?’ I said, ‘That's ridiculous.’ Well, here's why. We’re honored to share that Harvard Business School published a case study on Applecart’s journey from a University of Pennsylvania dorm room start-up to a category-creating technology company serving hundreds of Fortune 500 C-suites and other leading organizations. This month, Applecart Co-Founders and Co-CEOs Matthew Kalmans and Sacha Samotin and Board Member Jennifer Scott Fonstad had the pleasure of joining Professor Jeffrey F Rayport's “Scaling Technology Ventures” class at HBS to see the case taught to nearly 150 second-year MBAs and meet with students. Thank you to all of the students for the great discussion, Professor Rayport for telling the Applecart story, and the many Applecart-ers who participated in the decisions that formed the basis of the case over the years. This is just the beginning!
