  • 🪡 Ouch! Words can hurt. 🗯️ In Pricky Words, artist Gurjeet Singh gives form to the painful weight of language. A teary-eyed figure faces a barrage of cruel, flaming speech—echoing the real-world harm of slurs, online hate, and rejection. Whether from strangers or loved ones, words that shame or erase us can pierce deeply, leaving us raw and exposed. Yet within that vulnerability is a quiet resilience in the act of confrontation, and the refusal to look away from what hurts. 🫂 Affirmation matters. Singh reminds us of the power language holds. While it can be used to wound, it can also heal. What will you choose to say? https://lnkd.in/gzdqXjCK 📷: Pricky Words, 2025. By Gurjeet Singh (Indian, b. 1994).
