Join us in recognizing Rayford L. Jordan, who has been an integral part of the Banker Steel team for nearly two decades. With an impressive 45 years in the industry, Rayford’s experience and craftsmanship have helped shape the quality and integrity of countless projects. Throughout his time at Banker Steel, Rayford has fulfilled various roles including welding, performing revisions work, training new workers, and ensuring each steel member meets the highest standards. Rayford shares, “What I enjoy most is knowing that our quality of work speaks for itself.” His biggest point of pride: “Having a hand in the quality of the components going out the door here.” His advice for those new to the industry: “Take your job seriously. Follow fitter and welding specifications to ensure the safety of the fabricated assemblies.” Outside of work, Rayford has a passion for music — a hobby he’s enjoyed since high school — and looks forward to new projects and hobbies in retirement. Thank you, Rayford, for your dedication, expertise, and nearly two decades of contributions to Banker Steel! #BankerSteel #EmployeeSpotlight #WeldingExcellence #StructuralSteel #TeamBankerSteel #Craftsmanship #IndustryVeteran #QualityFirst

We recently refreshed our detailing office in Ontario, Canada—and to celebrate the team's collaboration and commitment to keeping shop drawings and workflows on track throughout the renovation, we hosted a well-deserved lunch. We appreciate our in-house detailing team- they do an excellent job of transforming complex construction drawings into fabrication- and erection-ready plans for our shop and field teams. #teambuilding #detailing #BIM #connectiondesign

The John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) new Terminal 6 project is featured as the cover story in the June edition of the American Institute of Steel Construction's Modern Steel Construction. Banker Steel and NYC Constructors worked closely with the engineer of record, Severud Associates, to realize a striking architectural vision—an elegant form reminiscent of a bow drawn taut, poised to release an arrow. Banker Steel fabricated, and NYC Constructors erected, 11,000 tons of structural steel for Phase One, navigating complex site constraints to ensure uninterrupted airport operations throughout construction. 13 of 30 Project Highlight: Nationals Park | Washington, D.C. Home of the Washington Nationals Bosworth Steel Erectors was part of the Design-Assist lineup that delivered Nationals Park, the big-league home of the Washington Nationals. With Clark, AECOM Hunt, Smoot, Banker Steel, and Thornton Tomasetti, we helped knock this one out of the park — and on a tight schedule that made every inning count. The job featured massive raker trusses, composite floor framing, and the steel backbone of the ballpark’s signature scoreboard — all erected under intense pressure to meet the first pitch deadline. A true team effort with championship-level execution landed this one on the cover of ENR as "Construction's Fastball." Built for the big leagues. Built by Bosworth.
