New partnership with Gestus Nord supporting disadvantaged children🙌 We are pleased to announce a substantial financial contribution to Gestus Nord, a charitable organization dedicated to fostering strong, supportive communities for vulnerable children, youth, and families in the North Jutland region. "With this funding, we can expand our activities that help children build meaningful connections. These opportunities enable children to access new experiences, interact with new role models, and develop friendships - an invaluable opportunity for those from disadvantaged backgrounds," says Jette Nørsøller Uhrenholt, Association Leader at Gestus Nord. Our support is allocated specifically to mentoring programs aimed at youths in North Jutland. These programs deliver academic assistance and are designed to enhance participants’ skills, increasing their prospects of completing secondary education. Record-breaking TP-less XXL Monopile of 123.6 meters and 2,515 tons💪 We are pleased to announce the successful completion of another batch of TP-less XXL Monopiles at our Lindø site. The largest Monopile has a weight of 2,515 tons, a diameter of 10 meters, and a length of 123.6 meters, potentially setting an industry record. The manufacturing process yielded a welding defect rate of just 0,05%, showcasing our ability to deliver the largest Monopiles required for the offshore wind industry to the highest quality standards. We extend our appreciation to all team members who contributed to achieving this significant milestone. Since our initial offshore wind projects in 2002, we have advanced in step with industry developments, scaling up in megawatts, increasing length, diameter and weight of our components, in close partnership with clients to address their specific requirements. Significant investments are being directed toward our Aalborg facility as we upgrade our foundation manufacturing equipment to ensure we continue to meet client demands well into the future. 🟡 Nordlicht 1 production launch celebrated with Vattenfall 🎉   Here a few snap shots from the day 📸   The Nordlicht projects 💡 In the beginning of 2025, CS WIND Offshore entered two contracts to manufacture 112 transition pieces for Vattenfall’s Nordlicht 1 and 2 offshore wind farms located in the German North Sea 🌊   These contracts mark another significant milestone for CS WIND Offshore, which boasts an extensive history of delivering quality products to Vattenfall. Recently, CS WIND Offshore fabricated 41 transition pieces for Vattenfall’s Vesterhav Syd and Nord offshore wind farms in Denmark, which were inaugurated in autumn 2024. Australian politicians and NGOs visit our TP production🙌 We were delighted to welcome an Australian policy and NGO delegation to our Aalborg facility, where we had the opportunity to showcase our welding workshops, Transition Pieces in production, the upending site, and the six Offshore Substations currently on-site. Søren Schlott Mikkelsen, COO for Transition Pieces, and Lasse Østergaard Nielsen, Sales Director, both shared insights from our position as a Tier 1 supplier, having contributed to over 50 wind farms worldwide. Partnering for nature conservation: Our commitment to Aalborg Zoo and the Black Mambas Project🌍 We have entered a new ambassador partnership with Aalborg Zoo and support of the Black Mambas conservation project in South Africa. Aalborg Zoo works closely with the Black Mamba Anti-Poaching Unit - the world’s first all-female anti-poaching team. This unit protects wildlife in the Greater Kruger National Park through daily patrols, removing snares, and collecting observations. The Black Mambas serve as role models in local communities, demonstrating the value of wildlife conservation over short-term gains from poaching. - We truly value the partnership with CS WIND Offshore, whose support helps secure continued efforts in nature conservation. This collaboration strengthens the vital work of the Black Mambas in South Africa and supports our mission to create value for both nature and society. Need Monopiles AND Transition Pieces for your next offshore wind farm? No problem, we offer both options✔️ Since our start in offshore wind, we've managed several multi-contract foundation scopes. Three examples from the history books: Our most recent supply of both MPs and TPs: We supplied 39 MPs and 39 TPs for the 342MW Kaskasi Offshore Wind Farm, operated by RWE in Germany. All foundations were manufactured in Aalborg from 2020-2022. The multi-scope with the highest unit count: In 2012, we manufactured 111 TPs and 111 MPs for Anholt Offshore Wind Farm in Denmark. The foundations feature a diameter of 5/5.7 meters and a total weight of 52,000 tons. The wind farm is operated by Ørsted today with a capacity of 400 MW. Our early days in offshore wind: In 2002, we manufactured 10 TPs and 10 MPs with a diameter of 4.5 meters for Samsø Offshore Wind Farm in Denmark. The wind farm was recently granted permission to continue producing electricity for another 10 years. Giants slipping through the gap: Sail-away of TP-less XXL Monopiles from Lindø🚢 Last week, our experienced team at Lindø successfully coordinated an efficient load-out operation. Four TP-less XXL Monopiles were loaded onto the Mighty Servant 1, which departed Odense Port in the early morning hours. Each Monopile measures approximately 120 metres in length and weighs around 2,300 tonnes. Colleagues documented the impressive journey through Gabet - the “gap” - and past the lighthouse at Enebærodde. Given the vessel's considerable dimensions and draught, navigating the narrow and winding channel of Odense Fjord required the assistance of two tugboats and an onboard pilot. Observing sail-aways from Gabet is a local tradition, with some local residents describing these moments as if one could almost touch the passing vessels due to their extraordinary scale navigating the narrow gap between the two shores.
