We’re pleased to announce that Tracy Griffin has been named Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Bon Secours Mercy Health, following her service in the interim role since May.   Tracy brings more than 20 years of healthcare-focused experience in cybersecurity, HIPAA compliance, healthcare operations, and information governance. She began her journey with Bon Secours in 2010 as Information Security Audit and Compliance Manager and most recently served as System Director, Information Security Risk and Assurance. As CISO, Tracy will lead the organization’s vision and strategy to ensure our information assets and technologies are well protected. Her leadership will be critical in safeguarding our data, systems, and reputation, with a strong focus on third-party cybersecurity accountability and performance.   Please join us in congratulating Tracy on this well-deserved promotion. After more than three decades of exceptional service in health care—and 17 years dedicated to Bon Secours Mercy Health—we congratulate our Chief Operating Officer, Don Kline, on his upcoming retirement at the end of 2025. Throughout his career, Don has been a steady, Mission-driven leader, known for his compassion, clarity, and integrity. He has played an instrumental role in shaping the future of our ministry, leading with both head and heart through pivotal moments—including the COVID-19 pandemic. From forming lasting partnerships like the one with Akron Children's Hospital, to overseeing multi-state operations and advancing clinical and operational excellence, Don’s leadership has elevated the care we provide to patients and communities alike. In 2023, his impact was recognized nationally by Becker’s Hospital Review as one of the “Hospital and Health System COOs to Know.” “It has been the privilege of a lifetime to serve a ministry so deeply rooted in compassion and purpose,” Don shared. “I leave with immense gratitude for the people who live out this sacred work every day.” Don will continue to support key areas of our ministry through the remainder of 2025, including Bon Secours – Ireland, ambulatory and urgent care, and strategic partnerships.
