🌟 Team Member Spotlight: Meet Care Coordinator Shani Winkler 🌟 What drew you to the veterinary field? I’ve always loved animals, but what really drew me to the veterinary field was the ability to improve the lives of pets and their owners. I find it incredibly meaningful to be part of a profession that advocates for those who can’t speak for themselves. What would you like to learn more about in veterinary medicine or what really interests you from a medical standpoint? Emergency and critical care has always drawn me in. I’d love to continue growing in that area and deepen my skills in triage and stabilization. A case that has been really rewarding for you (at Bond or elsewhere)? One of my most rewarding moments at Bond was supporting a pet parent through their senior dog’s end of life care. It was a deeply emotional time, and being able to provide compassion and comfort to both the dog and their owners reminded me just how meaningful our role can be in people’s lives. Favorite dog/cat name that you have come across? An orange tabby named Big Sean. What TV show has been your recent favorite? Dexter Resurrection.
