CDI is looking for an Attorney III specializing in Workers' Compensation to join our Legal Division's Government Law Bureau! This role offers the opportunity to handle complex legal work concerning the health and safety of California's workforce and the workers' compensation market. As part of our team, you'll: ▶️ Perform a wide variety of legal work related to the oversight and regulation of workers' compensation insurance. ▶️ Assist in reviewing and preparing for workers' compensation pure premium rate hearings and help draft proposed decisions for the Insurance Commissioner. ▶️ Coordinate Department rulemaking and regulations, including preparing proposed regulations, holding hearings, and responding to public comments. ▶️ Review and analyze drafts of proposed legislation and confer with legislative committees on workers' compensation issues. 📍 This position can be headquartered in Oakland or Sacramento and is eligible for hybrid telework.
