  • Last week, we had the privilege of hosting our first Inside Look event in collaboration with the National Black MBA Association, Atlanta at our Buckhead office. The event was a dynamic and impactful gathering dedicated to expanding our talent pipeline and building upon our partnership. We welcomed ~50 external attendees and partnered with a number of incredible internal leaders, including members of our Talent Acquisition team and leadership champions Shundrika A. • On June 19, 1865 — more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed — Union troops arrived in Galveston, Texas, and announced that all enslaved people were free. This day became known as Juneteenth, a powerful milestone in American history and the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the end of slavery in the U.S.    Juneteenth honors the resilience, culture, and contributions of Black Americans while also acknowledging the ongoing journey toward racial equity and justice. We observe this day as an opportunity to reflect, learn, and take meaningful action. We remain committed to fostering an inclusive workplace where every voice is valued and every person can thrive.

  • At Carter’s, Pride Month is an opportunity to honor the history and ongoing journey of the LGBTQIA+ community while reaffirming our commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for all. Over five decades ago, the stand against injustice at the Stonewall Inn became a powerful symbol of unity, resilience, and the fight for equal rights. Today, Pride represents not only parades and celebrations but also a tribute to those who have paved the way and a call to continue challenging inequality. As a company dedicated to supporting all families and children, we recognize the importance of inclusivity and respect in everything we do. This month serves as a powerful reminder that every individual deserves the freedom to live and love openly, without fear or discrimination. Pride at Carter’s is about celebrating diversity, championing self-expression, and standing together to create a world where everyone feels valued and empowered.
