We’re excited to welcome Dr. Fabiola Balmir to the CCRM Fertility team, who is now serving patients in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois! Dr. Balmir is a double board-certified OB/GYN and reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist (REI). She believes in shared decision-making with her patients and works closely with them to develop a personalized protocol that aligns with their family-building goals. She specializes in areas such as fertility care for women with a BMI of 40 or greater, reproductive surgery, oncofertility, PCOS, diminished ovarian reserve, recurrent pregnancy loss, and LGBTQIA+ family building. We’re proud to share that CCRM Chicago received Ferring’s Fertility Equity Clinic Completion Badge. The badge was earned by completing the #FertilityEquity e-learning modules, developed by Morehouse School of Medicine with support from Ferring Pharmaceuticals. This training provides essential education on how fertility care providers can better support patients of color and foster more equitable experiences across the patient journey. Earning this badge reflects CCRM’s ongoing commitment to providing culturally competent care rooted in compassion, respect, and informed action. One week down since our doors officially opened ✔️ and what an amazing week it has been! CCRM Fertility of Chicago is officially up and running, and we're jumping right in to supporting patients on their paths to parenthood.
