But the real power of these gatherings - connection. From keynote insights to dinner conversations, the dialogue reminded us that progress in our sector doesn’t happen alone. It happens when educators, partners, and leaders come together to share ideas, challenges, and solutions. 🙏 Thank you to ACCET for hosting such a meaningful event, and to our dinner colleagues, including Kelley Breton, Ronda Daly, Aria O'Connell, John Mazurek, Claire Park, Carolyn Nutter, and Eric Beier, thank you for the thoughtful conversations that continue to strengthen our community. #StudentSuccess #CareerEducation #HigherEdLeadership #WorkforceReady Financial Aid Services, Inc. & Genesis-SMSS, LLC, Sikich, California Institute of Applied Technology, First Institute Inc

Expanding Access to Education Behind every number is a student finding their path forward. For-profit colleges are creating more inclusive classrooms by offering flexible programs, career-focused training, and clear pathways to in-demand jobs. 👉 53% of students at for-profit colleges are underrepresented students of color—including those who are Black, American Indian/Alaska Native, Hispanic, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander, or identify with two or more races. These students aren’t just statistics—they’re future nurses, welders, IT specialists, and entrepreneurs who will power America’s workforce. #CareerEducation #DiversityInEducation #WorkforceReady #StudentSuccess #HigherEd

Very proud of our team The Project on Workforce at Harvard for publishing the second version of our Workforce Almanac. The Almanac identifies and describes training programs of all types-- academic institutions, not-for-profits, for-profits, etc.-- nationwide. We are aiming to help policymakers, educators and skills providers understand their local and regional environment in order to direct resources more efficiently, identify opportunities for collaboration and avoid duplication of effort. Congratulations to my co-authors Nathalie Gazzaneo Alexis Gable Tessa Forshaw, PhD Jacob Hale, PhD and Gani Simsek. Check out our associated paper on case studies of the Almanac in use. https://lnkd.in/eXg2ZgCZ
