Joined some of my coworkers this evening at the very first Child Start Gala. They had a beautiful setup and it was wonderful to see the impact of childcare within our community. (Plus a great emcee to keep the program going, Andy McFayden! 👏) Many do not know this, but when I was pregnant with my son we couldn’t find a daycare that had a spot for him. I contacted 32 places. THIRTY TWO. Someone told me Child Start can assist with finding openings and they pointed me in the right direction! 🩵
