Last week, Citadel EHS had the privilege of attending the Los Angeles Rams 2025 Kickoff for Charity at the beautiful Fairmont Hotels & Resorts Century Plaza in Los Angeles. Our CEO, Loren Witkin, LEED AP, and Associate Principal of Sales and Marketing, Kristina Krissakova, joined community leaders, fans, and the Rams Foundation to celebrate an inspiring morning filled with powerful speeches, a silent auction, and opportunities to connect. One of the highlights was sharing a table with some of the Rams’ newest talents, including Joshua Pearcy, and hearing their stories and perspectives. These young players were gracious, grounded, and full of energy for the future. What a great reminder of how sports can inspire and bring people together!  We are proud to support the Rams Foundation’s mission of driving equity, creating opportunities, and giving back to the community through programs focused on education, health, housing, youth mentorship, and veterans. A big thank you to the Rams for hosting such a meaningful event. EPA Issues Final Rule on Hazardous Waste Documentation On July 26, 2024, the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) finalized its long-awaited rule to integrate e-Manifest with exports, streamline PCB tracking, and centralize reporting—all designed to cut red tape and strengthen compliance. Why it matters: ·      Exported hazardous waste must be submitted electronically in e-Manifest. ·      SQGs & LQGs must be registered to access manifests and submit corrections (Jan 22, 2025 deadline). ·      Export manifests move fully electronic by Dec 1, 2025. ·      Exception, Discrepancy & Unmanifested Waste Reports are now managed directly in e-Manifest.  The bottom line: This rule will transform hazardous waste documentation, reducing paperwork while enhancing regulatory alignment. 👉 For guidance on how these changes may impact your business, connect with our expert, Nalinna Rasu, CAC, CDPH Lead I/A, CHMM, LEED AP, Principal of Environmental Compliance at Citadel EHS. #EPA #HazardousWaste #Compliance #eManifest #Sustainability

Citadel EHS Gives Back: Beach Cleanup at Rosie's Dog Beach 🐾 This past Saturday, our Citadel EHS team rolled up their sleeves, donned gloves, and came together at Rosie’s Dog Beach in Long Beach, CA for a community beach cleanup. With the sun shining and the waves crashing in the background, we spent the morning picking up litter, removing plastic waste, and doing our part to protect the beautiful coastal environment that so many people—and pups—enjoy every day.
