The Wheel of Needs shows the layers of struggle a person might carry all at once. It could be job loss, mental health, financial strain, parenting challenges, past abuse, addiction, trauma, lack of community, or immediate needs like food and safety. These are not side issues. They are all connected. The traditional care system is often scattered. If someone needs help, they may have to travel from one nonprofit to another across the city. Without reliable transportation, this becomes nearly impossible. In moments of crisis, the last thing a person should have to worry about is how to navigate a maze of organizations just to survive. City Center was created as a solution. It brings multiple nonprofits together under one roof. Like a hospital with different specialties, City Center provides a single set of doors where people can walk in and find support for every part of life. Housing, mental health, job training, education, family support, and more can all be addressed in one place. This is not just another building. It is a new way of caring for people in crisis. Prayer answered!!! The families are in❤️!! Yesterday, 30 families officially moved into the brand new Family Center at City Center. It was an incredible day filled with joy and hope for the families, the staff, and everyone who witnessed this special moment. One child said, “It feels like a resort.” A mother shared, “I’m excited for the future, and I’ve never been excited for something like that before.” This is exactly what we have been praying for. All glory to God! This is the day we’ve been waiting and praying for, the fulfillment of a vision born out of many challenges, frustrations, and moments of refining. Yet through it all, God’s hand has been on every step of this journey. As we prepare to open the doors of the Family Center next week, we can’t help but stand in awe of His faithfulness. Thank you to everyone who joined us for the ribbon cutting and walked this road with us! But the celebration doesn’t end yet!
