  • 🤩 Prepare to be inspired by Chef Leah Di Bernardo at the Fontana Business Summit on August 7. With a career rooted in the vibrant culinary traditions of her Southern Italian and North African heritage, Chef Leah has become a formidable force for change and innovation in the California food scene. For over two decades, she has woven her passion for authentic, nourishing food into a dynamic career as a chef, entrepreneur, and tireless community advocate. A celebrated figure in her community, Chef Di Bernardo's work has earned extensive recognition. She was named Citizen of the Year in 2022 by the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce, has been honored as Volunteer of the Year by Riverside County Supervisor Chuck Washington, and has won Business of the Year on three separate occasions. Her influence is also captured in the pages of world-renowned publications, including Sunset Magazine, Food & Wine, Wine Enthusiast, The Boston Globe, LA Weekly, and The Huffington Post. In 2006, she founded Slow Food Temecula Valley, and through her efforts, she has established 26 academic and edible garden programs in local elementary schools. Her commitment to regenerative agriculture extends to her role on the board at Mount San Jacinto College and her instrumental part in securing grants for the five-acre regenerative farm at Temecula Valley High School. For the past seven years, she has designed and taught "Exploring the Culinary Arts," a course emphasizing health, wellness, and regenerative farming, and is actively helping the college expand these vital programs. A staunch protector of the restaurant industry, she has lobbied in Sacramento to support small businesses through their many challenges. Today, she is channeling her love for education and human connection into her new podcast, "At The Table" on IE NOW, which is quickly evolving into a travel and food show in the spirit of Anthony Bourdain. Chef Leah Delyte Di Bernardo is more than a chef; she is a community builder, a mentor to young female entrepreneurs, and a lover of life and learning. She is the backbone of the culinary arts in her community, dedicated to gathering people around the table to lift us all up. Purchase your ticket today: https://bit.ly/43rrF2B
