This summer, our GIS team received a Special Achievement in GIS Award at the Esri User Conference! Esri — a leader in geographic information system software and mapping — gives out this award each year to recognize organizations throughout the nation that have set new precedents throughout the GIS community. Our GIS team was nominated by their Esri rep who noted the work we’ve done as a City to build a truly integrated enterprise GIS through projects such as our Street Tree Explorer app, our usage of drones and others. You can explore some of their work at auburnalabama.org/maps. Congratulations to the team for their ongoing dedication to excellence! 👏 #AuburnServes #AuburnIT #AuburnGIS #CityofAuburnAL #GIS #AuburnAL
