This transaction is structured so that 100% of Windsurf employees will participate financially. They will also have all vesting cliffs waived and will receive fully accelerated vesting for their work to date. We’ve been working closely with the OpenAI team to integrate GPT-5 into Devin. Starting today, users can select a preview version of Devin that uses GPT-5 as part of our agent orchestration. GPT-5 represents a huge step up over previous OpenAI models, such as GPT-4.1. We believe GPT-5 is at the frontier of agentic ability and shines on tasks that require complex code understanding. On our junior SWE evals, GPT-5 is particularly strong at code exploration and planning, and demonstrates execution ability on par with models currently used by Devin.
