Today we are celebrating one-year since opening the doors of Cyclone Bagels, located at 2028 Surf Avenue in Coney Island. Our bagel shop started as a dream a few years ago. We wanted to provide employment opportunities and job training for our nation's Veterans. Through a lot of hard work and great partners, this dream became reality. We are so grateful to everyone involved and for the #ConeyIsland community support. We hope to celebrate many more anniversaries. We are thrilled that the Town of Islip Planning Board approved our plans to repurpose the Sisters of St. Joseph Academy Buildings into Joseph's Village. Looking forward to the next steps in providing 176 units of supportive/affordable housing at this beautiful location in Brentwood, NY.

Earth Day provides an annual opportunity to reflect on how everyone needs to step up to protect the environment and combat climate change. Concern’s focus on helping our most in-need neighbors by building high-quality affordable housing with on-site supportive services has enabled us to also reduce emissions and improve the health of our communities.
