This summer, we had the privilege of working with an incredible group of interns who brought fresh ideas, curiosity, and energy to Cooper Lighting Solutions. We’re spotlighting a few of their reflections here—but they represent a much larger class of talented students who made a real impact across our teams. From engineering to project management, each intern contributed in meaningful ways while gaining hands-on experience in lighting and innovation. For the fifth year running, we proudly partnered with Harts of Teal, Inc. to help pack Teal for Teachers bags — bringing awareness to ovarian and gynecological cancer symptoms for teachers across Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, and even to schools near our Aurora plant. This year, nearly 60 women from our S.H.E. (Supporting. Helping. Empowering.) chapter joined together to pack 1,000 bags filled with educational materials. Thanks to a generous grant from the Rotary Club of Peachtree City, we also supported their initiative by packing an additional 500 bags during the day. That evening, about 30 Rotarians joined us onsite to complete another 500 bags, finishing 2,000 bags in just a few hours. "Teal for Teachers is more than just a project—it's a mission to save lives by sparking awareness and education. It's inspiring to see women of Cooper Lighting Solutions and our community partners come together to make such a meaningful impact," shared Mandy Timmons, CLS Sr. Director of CX, Harts of Teal Board Member and PTC Rotarian.
