The “Founder’s” Award is not solely based on job performance; it also must include elements of spirit, community involvement, and self-improvement – it’s about the well-rounded employee. The 2024 Founder's Award was presented to Anthony Ianni, a dedicated Senior Program Manager for Enterprise Services at #CSSI for over 12 years. Anthony's impactful contributions have played a vital role in the company's successes, particularly within projects for the FAA and US Navy. His exceptional leadership on the SETIS tasks order showcased his ability to overcome challenges gracefully, cultivate a positive work environment, nurture client partnerships, and ensure project excellence. His strong relationships with FAA personnel are built on a foundation of trust and respect. Anthony's deep understanding of the FAA’s Strategic Planning process has been instrumental for the SPIRE Development Team, enhancing their grasp of operational workflows and facilitating the delivery of the SPIRE Portal. Outside of his professional commitments, Anthony remains actively involved in his community, serving as the chair of his local residential neighborhood association.     CSSI recently announced the recipient of the prestigious "Rookie of the Year" Award, an annual recognition bestowed upon a CSSI employee for exceptional performance, dedication to customer service, and proactive initiative within the first 36 months of employment. Dwayne Driskill, a Sr. Software Developer who joined the CSSI team in October 2023, received the 2024 Rookie of the Year Award. Dwayne's reliability, meticulous attention to detail, and readiness to tackle challenges have truly distinguished him. Whether he's enhancing backend queries, managing AWS environments, or promoting seamless collaboration across teams, Dwayne consistently showcases precision and professionalism. His impactful contributions include optimizing backend processes for The Top 5 Hazards dashboard, resolving data issues collaboratively, and ensuring the preparedness of AWS environments at various stages. Dwayne's strong work ethic and positive attitude have significantly elevated our systems' efficiency and nurtured a positive team dynamic.     Last week, CSSI celebrated our Employee Appreciation Awards Ceremony (CEA's), which was truly an amazing event! The CEA's tradition highlights the talents, passions, and achievements of our colleagues. This week, stay tuned as we reveal the categories and winners. The “Incredibles” Award, an annual recognition bestowed upon one CSSI team for exceptional performance, customer service, and initiative. The 2024 Incredibles Award was presented to the TARGETS Team! The Terminal Area Route Generation, Evaluation, and Traffic Simulation (TARGETS) tool is the FAA enterprise tool for IFP design. The team provides computer software engineering capabilities that support development for future requirements, maintenance, and testing activities. They also maintain documentation and provide help desk support and training support. Their responsiveness—handling an average of 50 help desk calls monthly—and consistently excellent customer ratings demonstrate their reliability and impact. The TARGETS team has been integral to the FAA’s procedure development goals for over two decades, providing development, validation, integration, and maintenance for the Performance-Based Navigation (PBN) Tool Suite.   Team members include: Matt Douros Thomas Igoe Hameed Jamarussadiq Bill Laberis MaryBeth Massey John Stephen Meeniga Jay Modi Nikitha Nelakonda Carl Samuelson Scott Stoltzfus Congratulations once more to all the nominees and award recipients! 🏆 👏

    CSSI would like to welcome our 2025 Summer Interns - Ms. Santhi Prasanna and Mr. Mohammed Afaan Ansari. They both will have the opportunity to learn from Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) in various aspects of the aviation industry. In this program, they will gain extensive hands-on experience in software applications, security assessment, dashboarding, project management and data analysis. Santhi Prasanna is a student at the University of Maryland, where she is pursuing a Master's Degree in Data Science and is expected to graduate in May 2026. She also graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras in May 2023 with a Bachelor of Technology Degree in Aerospace Engineering. Santhi is passionate about using data to solve real-world problems, and enjoys taking part in hackathons and community-driven projects. In her free time, she loves to explore new places, try different kinds of food, spend time with friends, and dance. Mohammed Afaan Ansari is also a student at University of Maryland where he is pursing a Master’s Degree in Computer Science and is expected to graduate in August 2026. He graduated from Bhartiya Vidya Bhavans Sardar Patel Institute of Technology Munshi Nagar Andheri Mumbai in June 2022 with a Bachelor of Technology Degree in Computer Science. In his free time, he loves to explore advancements in artificial intelligence, collaborate on research projects, and participate in hackathons to continuously sharpen his technical and analytical skills.
