We’re proud to share that DeepHealth has received FDA 510(k) clearance for TechLive™ - our vendor-agnostic remote scanning solution enabling centralized operation and supervision of MR, CT, PET/CT, and Ultrasound procedures. "TechLive represents a paradigm shift in how we approach imaging operations," said Sham Sokka, PhD, Chief Operating and Technology Officer at DeepHealth. Over the past decade, we’ve seen radiology workloads steadily increase, while the number of qualified technologists has not grown proportionally. TechLive addresses this challenge by empowering technologists to scan at multiple locations simultaneously with a high level of expertise. In extending remote scanning capabilities to Ultrasound, TechLive enables experienced senior sonographers and physicians to remotely guide technologists on-site through complex cases in a modality that is heavily dependent upon real-time, operator expertise. Initial deployment at RadNet, which connected more than 300 of its MR, CT, PET/CT, and Ultrasound systems with TechLive, has shown to deliver operational efficiency and increased access to advanced procedures. According to the World Health Organization, lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related deaths globally—and it’s often diagnosed too late, when treatment options are limited. But it doesn’t have to be this way. Today, on World Lung Cancer Day, we’re highlighting the importance of earlier stage detection. In Europe, within the NHS England’s Lung Cancer Screening program, one of the largest lung cancer screening efforts in the world, radiologists are using DeepHealth’s AI-powered lung solution to find cancer at earlier stages. Watch to learn more about how DeepHealth is working to make early detection a reality for more people. We’re proud to be part of this BBC StoryWorks series produced for the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC). The series explores innovative solutions for cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment and care, and spotlights DeepHealth’s role in transforming lung cancer screening, which is part of our larger population health ambition to fight disease before it takes hold. #WorldLungCancerDay #LungCancerAwareness #EarlyDetection #AIinHealthcare #PopulationHealth #DeepHealth #CancerScreening #Radiology #BBCStoryWorks #UICC #ImagingInnovation

Too many lung cancers are still diagnosed too late. But with the right tools and trusted systems, we can change that. In the lead up to World Lung Cancer Day, we’re spotlighting how AI-powered screening is already stage-shifting lung cancer in the real world, moving diagnoses from late to early stage, and outcomes from uncertain to hopeful. The NHS England’s Lung Cancer Screening program is a leading example, where 76% of cancers were detected at earlier, more treatable stages—that’s a dramatic improvement from just 29% outside of the program.* We’re proud to support this effort and empower radiologists to enable large-scale screening with our Population Health solutions. As Sham Sokka, PhD, DeepHealth’s Chief Technology and Chief Operating Officer, shared with the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC): “AI supports radiologists in managing the high volume of scans involved in large-scale programs. In the UK, for instance, a full rollout means reading millions of scans. AI reduces that burden and allows clinicians to work more efficiently.” Let’s keep pushing for earlier answers and better outcomes, moving healthcare from reactive to proactive by stage shifting disease through early detection. * UK Department of Health and Social Care. “New lung cancer screening rollout to detect cancer sooner”, June 2023. #AIinHealthcare #PopulationHealth #ImagingInnovation #WorldLungCancerDay #LungCancerAwareness https://lnkd.in/eVHUrmNn
