Our Emergency Medical Services Department recently added another national accreditation to their portfolio. The recognition comes from the Commission on Accreditation for Prehospital Continuing Education (CAPCE), the predominant accrediting body for EMS continuing education. Delaware County EMS is the only government-based EMS agency in the state to receive this prestigious recognition, joining fewer than 25 ground-ambulance services in the country that have earned this distinction. With accreditation from CAPCE and the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services, Delaware County EMS joins an elite group of EMS organizations recognized for excellence in both service delivery and educational quality.
