About us

We're not in the crane business. We're in the quality business. Our job is elevating your projects with cranes custom-built to your needs, robust automation systems tailored to your operation, and expert service to keep it all running smoothly. If you want to improve the quality or productivity of an existing manual manufacturing/assembly process or lower the operating cost, DESHAZO can provide you with an engineered solution to meet your requirements. Our engineers will visit your site, observe your manufacturing processes and prepare a 3-D conceptual design of the equipment or system to meet your requirements. We employ the latest technology in design and manufacturing processes including SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Catia, and Robot Simulation software as well as CNC manufacturing equipment in our plant. Our skilled technicians perform on-site inspections, repairs, modernizations and rebuilds on any overhead crane or hoisting equipment. We can also rebuild your crane parts and components in our Rebuild Program at a fraction of the cost of new. We always deliver outstanding service, regardless of make or model In addition, DESHAZO has the ability to analyze the financial benefits of a prospective automation project in your facility. Working with your personnel, we can assist in calculations on the projected improvement in productivity, quality and operating cost, as well as the return on investment of an automation project.

For 33 years, Jackie has dedicated his time and talents to DeSHAZO but will now be moving on to the next chapter with family and wonderful grandchildren. • What is the DeSHAZO Difference? We asked our experts and here is what one employee - with 18 years and experience across both our Crane & Service Divisions - had to say: "With DeSHAZO, you can rest assured you are getting a quality-built product. In the 18 years I’ve been here, I’ve never once seen our team not correct a problem…even if the crane was out of warranty. DeSHAZO has always been able to work hand in hand with our customers to tailor make and design a quality crane that fits their needs. We can get as custom as we need to or provide a standard run of the mill crane. "

Oh, ya know, just admiring the fruits of our [creative] labors 💅🎥 In collaboration with the masterminds at CRAFTSHOW Digital , we developed a stellar Brand Anthem that won Bronze in the General-Corporate Image category 🥉at the annual #TellyAwards. We are honored to receive this award alongside names like JPMorganChase and Lowe's. Since 1979, The Telly Awards have honored excellence in video and television across all screens. The award has evolved with the rise of digital video to include branded content, documentary, social media, immersive and more. https://lnkd.in/eYUTvdgQ

  • Where are the #Gearheads at? ⚙️🔧 We recently archived several photos that span the 50+ year history of DeSHAZO and couldn't help gawking at this golden jewel (photo taken between 1982-1984)! Sure the DeSHAZO #gantry in the background is nice...but check out that parking lot full of automotive nostalgia 😍 Can you identify some of those vintage beauties? Which one would you love to have in your garage to restore or run some back roads? Let us know in the comments! #classiccars #vintageauto #vintagecars #takemeback

  • Earlier this month, CRO J. Cliff Denson embarked on his 26th volunteer trip with the non-profit Appalachia Service Project (ASP) where he served as a Site Supervisor in Carter County, Tennessee, helping families who lost their homes in Hurricane Helene. DeSHAZO is proud to support ASP’s mission, and this marks our corporate foundation’s third year donating to the cause. After struggling with strength and safety concerns on day one, a volunteer team approached Cliff with a problem. Forty-five (45), 250 lb prefabricated truss girders needed to be set atop 8’ high masonry walls, but scaffolding was in short supply and simply moving the girders from their drop point to their install position posed safety concerns. That evening, Cliff, drawing on his years of engineering experience in the crane industry, sketched and built what he now calls the Appalachian End Truck: two rolling, half-ton-capacity trucks that glide along the wall’s sill plates and were used the next day to deliver the pre-fab girders into place, single girder crane style… Whether building cranes or helping rebuild communities, Cliff never hesitates to share his ingenuity, work ethic, and servant leadership with those around, including his son, Brooks, and his daughter, Anna, who also spent time volunteering with ASP this month. If you have any interest in helping those in need, Appalachia Service Project has been making homes Warmer, Safer, and Dryer since 1969. If you’d like to learn more about this mission, please visit ASPHome.org or just reach out to Cliff! #DeSHAZOGivesBack #EngineeringForGood #AppalachiaServiceProject #DisasterRecovery #VolunteerLeadership #DeSHAZO #CarterCountyTN #CommunityFirst #BuiltToServe

"We hold these truths to be self evident: That all men are equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." — Thomas Jefferson To our customers and vendors, all DeSHAZO locations will be closed on Friday July 4, 2025 in observance of Independence Day. Let us not take for granted the independence we have in this great country and may we all use this gift in our collective pursuit of happiness.
