Today, DRT is celebrating #NationalInternDay! This summer, DRT welcomed three talented students and two recent grads to explore the world of government contracting, IT, and management consulting. Three rising seniors from Virginia Tech (Rebecca Lara, Isaac Kidd, and Prajakta Gadhamsetty) and a recent graduate from the University of Virginia (Sam Jun) worked part-time at DRT this summer – while a Christopher Newport University graduate (Carter Gleason) started as an intern this spring, and was subsequently hired, joining DRT’s business development team. Our incredible interns made valuable contributions in their various projects, including a website content refresh, AI automation for recruiting, HRIS IT optimization, corporate asset inventory, general IT support, and invoice/billing/contract support. We are excited for our interns to take their experiences at DRT into their senior year and future careers – hopefully with us again at DRT!
